That's exactly why I started taking an interest in the chessboard thread. To get Russia's side of the story.

Of ffs. Yeah, that was a tweet by an Australian leftist by the name of Caitlin Johnston posted after the outgoing US government gave the green light to use missiles that only a couple of days before Russia said that if any of those missiles supplied by the west would be a direct act of war.

What is it these days that every single organisation that you have some sort of dealings with, now wants feedback on "how satisfied are you with our services?"

Yesterday I had to get (yet another) blood test from 4-Cyte Pathology or whatever they are called.

Sure enough, I received their survey and then shortly after I responded giving them an 8 out of 10 response, which I think is not too bad, they responded with "What do we need to change to make you love us?" Really?

I'm sick of surveys. Leave us alone, all of you. All of you.

I'll complain soon enough, when I am unhappy.

Anyone criticising the current US government's Israel stance is being wilfully ignorant if they think Trump will act against Israel. To the contrary, he has stated that he supports Israel going harder.

Democrats are a woeful organisation and should are rightfully subject to criticism for poor policy. But the continued wilful ignorance (acceptance?) of Trump being worse (on pretty much any issue) does grate.

No, I haven't. The whole Israel situation is too horrible so I'm now avoiding much of the reporting.

Israel have always been smart in garnering effective support (i.e. they have paid for favourable US policy since the mid 20th century, knowing they can ignore the toothless tiger that is the UN) and it has allowed them to carry out atrocities for decades. I'm not anti-Israel per se - they have the right to defend their own legal territory - but their aggression against others in the region, especially Palestine of course, is unacceptable. Unfortunately, the rest of the world won't act against them and we're seeing the drastic and tragic consequences of that in real time.
