Haha hilarious, Andrews is still over 50% popularity with O'Brien at 15% but the only two people they interviewed were anti Andrews :D :D

But no agenda or narrative by the MSM and the Costello media.

That’s the one. No bamix were around &300. This was other crap we sold.

I reckon my mum would have bought stuff off you back then. She went nuts when they were the big kitchen accessory, we had cupboards full of accessories and bits that had no purpose. Interesting fact, Bamix is Swiss for "tiny blender that throws milk on your ceiling".

Ye, I know bamix is a very good item. Was just kidding. But did get things from that shop every now and then. Small world.

I bought my wife some cheese knives there not that long ago. She wanted some obscure brand and they were the only place close by that had them. If you want pretentious cupboard fillers that you'll never use that place rocks.

South Melb dim sims are a whole different thing.
I'm not sure whether its the spices, or maybe they use a better quality cats testicles, but they don't taste anything like normal dimmies.
They‘re very different, my sons not a dim sim fan but he likes the real buy them hot from the market south melbourne market fried dim sim.

The ones you buy from Safeway etc are ok but don’t taste anything like the real ones, different meat mix, not anywhere near as spicy, less cabbage.

I actually think that it might have worked against them. Australians are pretty contrary, I watched one of the press conferences about a week ago. They had Sharnelle Vella asking the same question over and over until Andrews had to tell her not to, she is the girl channel 7 send out to do advertorials on shopping items and attend car accidents. She was wasting time and just a cynical piss take.

Then had Peta Credlin "asking" political statements that were closed questions. It was mind bogglingly idiotic and negative for the sake of it. He sat through their inane questions with a grace that I wouldn't have given them. You despair for our "journalism" standards these days after watching that shit.

Score my Daughter needs to go to south melbourne quite close to the market and just asked me if I want any dim sims.

I love their spring rolls as well, they taste exactly the same as the ones I used to get every Friday night after swimming pennant at the old Olympic pool 40 plus years ago.

Ok that was good, the spring role in particular that hot peppery taste with the sour note of the cabbage is great.

The dim sims were excellent as well quite a bit bigger than the south melbourne market dim sims from the supermarket and a completely different recipe. Sorry I’ve been eating them myself and you can almost convince yourself there close but nah not in the same ballpark.

Now I’m going to finish with a jam donut and a coffee.

Just had a work presso from a mob called The Resiliance Project hosted by Hugh van Cuylenberg - focuses on wellbeing and mental health.
I bring it up because:
A - its super relevant and pertinent in this year
B - he worked with Richmond and Dusty in 2017 before they went and did what they did and he also worked with Collingwood in 2018 when they made the GF.

They have websites and podcasts and all that stuff if people are interested, it's also particularly helpful dealing with anxiety in kids too.

We need to get this bloke and his program at Moorabbin, could be just the 1% we need to break the drought.

Well I began the water manipulation yesterday. First time trying it out and seeing some great results. Will say to definitely not make it part of your routine though. Not sustainable and pretty unhealthy if you do it for more than a week.

Anyway, here's how it's broken down for me (no carbs for the week either)

Day 1 - Consume 14 litres of water
Day 2 - 7 litres
Day 3 - 7
Day 4 - 3.5
Day 5 - 1.75
Day 6 - 0
Day 7 - Weigh in

Making sure I spread out the 14L over the day yesterday as to not potentially cause myself serious harm, gotta say even then it was quite a struggle. And I usually drink plenty of water as it is.

However as the sodium is flushed from my body the weight just falls off and over a 14 hour period yesterday I lost 2.3 kilos. Apparently people that have done it have on average lost 10-15 kilos in a week (so yeah, pretty unhealthy if you do it over a longer period of time) and so far seems like I'm on track.

More importantly I'm only 1.7 kegs away from fitting into these damn pants so I can go out for a drink on Friday after work 😅

Would also mention that if you are thinking of giving it a go you probably need to be working from home or take the week off because you'll be up and down to the loo about 20 times a day.

This probably won't be for everyone but I only eat one large meal a day - usually vegetables with steak, salmon or chicken breast. This week am substituting steak with lentils but I do that sometimes anyway, so nothing much has changed in terms of the diet however the no carbs rule (it's actually less than 50g of carbs a day) is the one that will probably be the worst thing to deal with after today or tomorrow as the headaches kick in. No salt in this routine, either.

Been surprised by the results though and if it gets to Sunday and I've lost 10 or so kegs I'll probably consider giving it a go once a year or something. Again it's really unhealthy and you could die from water intoxication if you consume too much of it too quickly. So best to spread it out over the first day which you'd probably need to be the most careful with and from there you'll be alright. Your kidneys can only flush about a litre of water an hour so I would recommend to drink no more than a litre per hour.

What's the theory? Does it actually break down any fat, or is it just some crap boxers or jockey's do to trick their body into holding less fluid on weigh in day?

The latter. I am doing it specifically to fit into a pair of pants for Friday though haha

Nope I deal with it all the time too does my head in, actually had a meeting today to discuss ways that we can direct customers to read their email before contacting us.

Could try these guys their good with other peoples money

Despair also the Editors or their equivalent that send the journos out with a fixed brief not with a view to the truth but to wheel the barrows dictated by the agenda of their owners/directors who have few standards if any.

Now I drink a lot of water. Sometimes on a busy hot day up to 10 litres but I couldn’t imagine 14 litres especially as you obviously couldn’t do that much exercise as you aren’t eating carbs. It must nearly kill you drinking 14 litres in a day. Why do they say go hard early then hardly touch the stuff late. What the reasoning behind it? I also couldn’t go a day without carbs.

just out of interest did you wake up after during the night to go to the toilet.

Apparently Its a technique used to dehydrate your body and weigh less.
Used by Bodybuilders trying to look ripped.
Jockeys and Boxers needing to weigh in.
Fatty's trying to get into their pants.
