Any win over the wobblers is usually right up there for me, but that one was wallpaper over some very big cracks.

I can't think of the last time DBJ has played that badly.
Farrell was surprisingly good.
Wines, Boak and Gray can hold their heads high.
Rozee seems to be completely down on confidence and since we no longer stream through the middle, he has lost his biggest contribution to the team.

The bigger win was no injuries.
I was impressed with how Ladhams‘ after half time, halved the contest. Well and truely beaten overall, but at least nullified Grundy’s advantage. Boak roving to Grundy also helped.
outside mids (Houston, Amon, DBJ, Bonner and co) all quiet. prevented the run and spread/run and gun.
sometimes you win dirty. sometimes you get out of gaol. This is one of those games.

Yep, Houston, Amon and Byrne-Jones are allowed a bad one every now and again but I reckon if we were dinkum Rozee and Hartlett would be in the SANFL next week. Not sure who replaces them but they are both liabilities at this stage.

Right now we’d have a massive struggle in an internal trial.
For the second week in a row, the opposition had seven of the top nine ball-winners on the ground, with Boak and Wines both in the top three and then a big drop off.
At the bottom of the list are the two most over-hyped, underperforming softies in Rozee (9 touches!) and Marshall (7). Not good enough you two.
We need to get some ball-winning ability back in pronto. Drew, Amon, Houston in particular need to fire up or piss off.

Awful first quarter. Poor second and third quarters. Good last quarter where we actually attacked and took the game on ... until we tried our best to choke it at the end.
Loved Farrell's game. The trick for him is to back it up.
McKenzie was amazing. It's a joke that it took until round 10 to see him.
Jones looks a 100 gamer already.
Ladhams, Drew and Wines were all poor early but all ended up playing a big part.
Boak and Gray did their thing as usual.
Rozee is a big problem. Is giving us less than nothing right now.
DBJ reverted to his early season form. Fumbly and error ridden game.
Take the 4 points and move on.
