I'll go there and am happy to be proven *foolish, but anyone who thinks Brown offers more than Daw really needs a better understanding of football. When he rucks we'd be better off playing an extra mid. If majak had put up his first half there'd by cries of 'delist'.

* Please kick five second half goals.
Brown in the ruck could cost us the game IMO

We've been very good considered Dal Santo and Cunnington are playing hurt, and our captain in Swallow is gone for the night. I worry that these things are going to hurt us the longer the game goes on, and without Jacobs out there, Selwood and/or Dangerfield could win this game off their own boot if we aren't careful.

Jesus christ. Shocking minute there.

If Geelong had done anything to make us panic, then good play to them... But we panicked for absolutely no reason in the last 5 minutes of that quarter. Very lucky that the Cats didn't at least draw level.

We need 'em both. 2 years playing together they will be unstoppable.

Going to be an almighty battle to get up from here. Play Cunners up forward and move Lindsay through the middle in patches. Wells and Gibbo fantastic, likewise Taz. Losing Spitta very costly.

Brown has seriously got to pull his finger out when he goes into the middle. Cringe at the sight of his ruckwork.

Don't see us holding on, just too many injuries piling up.

Dal and Cunnington with limited running capacity, Swallow gone for the night, Goldy barely able to jump at times and Nahas with the dislocated finger (who knows what affect that will have on confidence/skills/tackling).

Yeah bit disappointed in Goldy he looks very limited in what he can do.

May need to move mason on the ball. Big tank swallow down, dal and ben10 struggling.

move ben 10 forward abd mason on the wing. He has the second best tank and needs to get into the game.

I swear Brown was half decent in the ruck early this year. He seems to have gotten worse with each game the last few weeks though. That first quarter was just. JUST.

Not on his own .Dangerfield has walked through a few tonight..
Swallow, best tackler in the comp had cats walk through some tackles tonight, Nahas is just the low hanging fruit.

Gotta love the commentary. North hit the front. Silence. Not a single word. North kick another and go further ahead. "North back in this now". WTF
Ha, heard similar on 3AW - "with that goal, North staying in it... In fact they hit the lead".

Happy for Selwood and Dangerfield to win the centre as long as they bomb it in, we will mop up.

Our forwards will need to tackle like no tomorrow.

Our structure down back needs to be superb with Atley and BMac to break the lines with a bit of pace and punish them on the rebound.

Alot to ask considering Cunnington, Swallow and Dal out.

Litrally the engine room of our midfield gone.
