The gameplan and positions are completely irrelevant when next to none of the players have any want. We aren't chasing hard, or tackling, there's no pressure, no run, no trying to create space. This is a problem with the players, its been like this all season. Most are just going through the motions instead of giving 100%

Why? Are the players so childish that they need someone to tell that they should want to win? If the coach said nothing at all they should still be going in with the want to win, this is only the coaches job on the off occasion when they need to pumped up. Not every single game.

Problem is to many like for like players.
King,Sheds,Grigg,Pettard,Morris,Jackson,Thomas,Conca,Vickery all have some kind of lack of skill which need to be taken up by our "better" performers.problem is when one of those better players is out it makes the problem even harder.
We simply can't carry all of them.

We didnt replace White's speed in the off season - game plan cant be executed with out it

No Lids, No White - they were our only quick players

Grimes is rubbish - Batchelor should be playing

Only 2 of Jackson, Thomas and Grigg can be in the team - all three are slow of mind and dreadful by foot

Will be interesting to see the reaction in second - i expect none

Finally picking the coach's favorite spuds is going to cost us a game against a bottom 5 side. Nothing to do with injured players, you NEVER hear Hawthorn sook about injuries. The players out there today are disinterested, soft and lazy. Half of them should not be wearing the jumper. disgraceful "bruise free" reserves players.

As for hardwick - bloody pathetic coaching. Should be at home watching the live telecast as he is useless in the box. "Fiddling" (that was his word) with Jack and Martin pre season - you have taken this squad backwards. This is our season defining game and we are an embarrassment.

Next week will be the same spuds like Grigg and King. Our best player today was playing in the SANFL last year.
