Great game by our guys, we matched it with the team everyone has set for another GF shot. To me this is the most encouraging game of the year. Add 1 more experienced mid to the team and Docherty to the back 6 and the team is set. Enjoy the ride Blue Baggers #17 in 2021.

I'm of the belief that top teams get more 50/50 calls. Umps see them as infallible and sometimes fall for the 'they are expected to win' mindset. Pies are slick and professional, Carlton are a cellar dweller. We have to rise to get the rub of the green more often than not.

Hopefully soon, it will just be a case of Weiters wouldn't have impeded him, he's a AA defender, too strong. Charlie didn't need to give a nudge, he's too good anyway. Our defense was under siege in that last quarter, probably lucky to be 10 points up with 10 minutes to go. Would have beaten most teams in the league with that effort today.

What did we do? Pushed players behind the ball one on one. What we should have done - spread, slow down the play for at least two minutes. But we went one on one as far as I saw. Against Collingwood with their quality.... we lost it in the coaches box prove it otherwise you can't.
