Nothing like a little trip to Tassie to bring our spirits back! Ahern magnificent. And he's only just begun his journey with us. Froggy was fantistic - he's becoming old and wise before our very eyes out there. He just never looses his cool. Narrows the eyes, sizes up his target, and kicks. Excellent match from him again. Maj intercept marking machine and exquisite tackler. Between him and Cunners, we can bring the fear factor to bear at some really crucial moments. And speaking of, I thought Kanye was really good today - ran like a nut and never gave up. His repeated efforts were the lynchpin at times, keeping the ball in our possession. Good on him. Jy also MUCH better, thank goodness. And a goal for Hovat!! Thank you Universe! (Just when all the haters thought he might finally be out! See, this is how karma works. Be nice.)

Match LOL moment: when Rioli took out Cunners, and then gave him the "I'm sorry" (i.e. "Please don't kill me") bum pat. Also, Maj in the goal square when the ball came flying in and it just landed straight into his arms like he was a tractor beam.

And young William Walker can hold his head very high. I thought he did great. Played over all 4 Quarters and did a really good job to stay in it. He's a little workhorse, and with a good brain to boot. Got himself into good places consistently throughout the game, took some lovely marks, laid a couple tackles that were incredibly effective for a kid his size, and overall, though not quite as Murphy-esque as Tom Murphy, I thought he held his you know what together pretty darn well out there. Congrats Will. Enjoy your gatorade shower!

Massive sigh of relief that Jedly is not concussed. Took 2 head knocks and played on. Kicked match final goal. Hair growing like Father Time. Do love.

Great win, our younger blokes stood up today while last work they were flat.

Ahern, Anderson, Clarke, Dumont and Simpkin were all awesome while Walker had a strong debut against a quality side. I also thought Turner was much better playing up the ground and looked comfortable in the backline. Good idea.

A special mention to Anderson. While you were not in our top 3 best today, your effort and desire is off the charts.

If we can get Waite and Jacobs back firing before finals, I think we could do something.

Just another point about today's win. Couldn't find it posted anywhere else, but it was West Coast's lowest ever score against us.

You have to remember any game where they don’t get a lot of cheap free kicks that aren’t there is viewed as a reaming to them.

If anything for a team that was utterly dominated they got a very good run.

Good to see that bald campaigner pay them a free kick for abuse after he sat there and watched Higgins get driven into the ground without the ball.

Also apparently getting kicked in the head is contact below the knees?
