3 - Cunnington - pure beast. Monster. Animal. Better fend off than dusty.

2 - Ahern - we now have our own gun young mid. Always wished we had a player like Merrett, Cripps, Oliver etc. now we do.

1- Daw - just reads it perfectly. Knows his role and is super consistent. Can do it at both ends. Very valuable.

Stiff: Goldstein and all of his dicks.

Anderson - loves to hurt people.

McMillan - very smart game. Took it on and was calm when needed.

Ziebell - should have kicked 4. Competed as always. Not a bad day

Brown - not his day but didn’t need to be. Even when quiet he still has an impact bringing it to ground.

Marley - fantastic day. Such a great get

Tarrant, Thompson did the job in the air.

Dumont- very unsung. Finds it and tackles hard. Liked his game a lot

Clarke - so much better when he can play his natural game. Links up really well and runs all day

Turner - competitor. Always is.

Not a bad game day from anyone. When the whole team puts in we win. Nothing much to it

Same same terrific game in the end, first half was oh no the bad North are here but the second half showed what we are capable of. If their guns had played I think we still would have one but by a smaller margin. Looking forward to next week, Go Roos!!!

Not overall, but at the start of the 4th they had the momentum and couldn't put it on the board. We got 3 very lucky decisions in a row. Ziebs mark out of bounds was one, that McMillian holding the ball was two, can't think of the third.

Very very very good win. Ahern my God. Jet. Cunnington and Higgins (after half time) immense. But it was also your unheralded types today - Dumont, Clarke, Jy, Williams, JMac,Anderson all terrific. Everyone good bar McDonald in the first half really.

Thought our season might have been done but we are a real shot at finals. Very satisfying afternoon, and in our top 3 wins of the year (in a year where many thought 3 wins would be a stretch).

You crazy? Maj was huge as an intercept marking Backman today. He should only go forward when our forward line aren't firing IMO.

I think he ought to be permanently back. We have enough others who can kick goals. If they can't find them in the seniors, demote blokes and bring up VFL players. Maj is irreplaceable in the backline, he is replaceable in the forward line. Think this is the lesson out of the last month .....

Second half response was quite decent with using Brown as a decoy at times to open up the fwd line. The efficiency factor is still disturbing as North need to play SMARTER. Even though we didn’t miss either Jacobs or Waite.. it would be vital to give them with match conditioning coming into the business end. I’ll be going to the Crows game in a couple of weeks... hopefully North can break my interstate duck.. (0-3).

Maj only swings when Waite & Wood are out and the forward line is destroyed. Ziebs and Brown alone ain't enough.

He's a great mark and a pretty good set shot, but he's more important right now at the back for sure.

The non-paid 50 for Goldie had me very angry at the end of third, so I know what you mean. Cannot get a more obvious holding the game up.

In terms of the ladder, someone will probably finish 4th on 14 wins, someone (very possibly us) will miss the 8 on 13 wins.
