Ahern and Cunners jets
Higgo good considering the tight tag, would have been nice to see more blocks for him though
Taz and Maj brick walls down back

Marley so good down back
Turner more down back was a nice move
Ziebell and wood looked good up front
Brown seemed to be labouring all day

Clarke another good game

There's still something off with Atley and I'd like him off hbf so we can drop Wright

Thompson has been very poor the last 3 weeks it time for him to rest and McKay in

Thought Clarke was fantastic. Cracked in providing an outlet and was clean, which isnt always the case.

He was great, massive tank, always provides an option by running hard. Just to needs to cut out the stupid errors and take sensible options and he will become an effective AFL player. . Wood cracked in hard today which isn't always the case.

Always some ****-wit looking for a key player to be dropped. Even after a great win.

Edit: Should say key players.

What a game. Thats the kind of game you want from your team after such a dismal last week. I really couldn't be happier with that, not a patch of bad games to be found from our boys. It was a TEAM EFFORT today; pressure pressure pressure, and composed footy. We controlled the whole 4 Quarters and it paid off big time in the second half.

Christmas came early because Paul ****ing Ahern has arrived. What a BEASTLY game from him, and to top it off Cunners gets a 39 possession game with the majority contested. They were absolutely brilliant. Higgins was great as usual after shrugging off the tag as he does in the second halves.

Even Clarke & Hrovat had some brilliant moments, they were actually pretty good today, so was Turner & Anderson and Atley, it was just great to see them bounce back. Speaking of bouncing back, Jy Sympkin has responded emphatically, his game was intense, contested, got his shots in and made big impact.

What a game to debut in from Will Walker, did his job superbly I think, for a 19 y/o first gamer, while he was sucking wind at first he worked himself into it as he always does. Some good tackling & pressure, a shot on goal, a couple marks and possessions. You can't ask for much more. He stays in.

I loved that game, from top to bottom it was superb. Keep this going boys, with Waite back in next week hopefully and Wood's back in the side with Maj now turned the corner and playing consistently amazing defence. Things are getting better.

I don't know who is in charge of special effects at our club but I enjoyed the smoke rising from Higgins' body in his post game interview. He looked like a supernatural demigod

Yeah, looked like.

God it feels good to beat a good team so convincingly.

The last few weeks are so frustrating when we know we can play like this.

Not much more to say than has been already said but damn - Ahern is a f***ing jet.

Thought everyone was solid - no passengers today.

Have to give it to the coaches too. They saw who was underperforming and changed the structure to get all those guys into the game this week.

Turner, Simpkin, Dumont, Hrovat all played different roles it seemed and were so much better.

Maj is so important to us now. it's just clicked for him. Marks or spoils everything.

If we ever get a home final we should ask for it to be at Hobart...

Special shout out to all of those last week who were throwing the babies out with the bathwater and suggesting we play for draft picks.

**** that.

Honestly, I still think we would be better suited in the medium and long term if we put players in for surgery and blooded kids etc. We are in with a chance of making the 8 though, and if you make the finals all you have to do is win a handful of games and you get a nice shiny cup. We're very unlikely to do what I suggested though, and I'm fine with that. I'm enjoying the ride overall but the reality is that a higher draft pick would really benefit us this year especially. It is what it is, and go Roos!
