So.....total 100% truth....I do sometimes avoid my wife at parties. Like not completely but I'll deliberately not seek her out for a few hours because I see her and talk to her every day, whereas I don't see my friends that often because of where we live.

Don't feel guilty, I can only assume she would be hunting you down if she wanted to hang out at said parties There's only so many times you can run through the Bunnings shopping list before it gets old

Depends on the party really: if it's a work do or one where she's there with me and doesn't know anyone then I stay with her, but if it's one where we both know a bunch of people then it's splitville - I'd rather not have to suffer her disapproving gaze whilst people are cheering me on to drink 2 beers at once.

It's great, sounds kind of dumb or gross or whatever but it scratches the itch and relatively benign but gives you a nicotine hit. Has been a big part of Sweden having one of the lowest smoking rates in the world. Having a culturally popular alternative.
