worth mentioning the dees came off the back of one of the worst trips in footy, would explain why they were a bit sluggish as the game went on

having said that i felt apart from the 1st we easily accounted for them and would do regardless of their trip

they've loaded up on too many inside types for mine

So did Port and they did well with a 7 day break.
The Dees had 8.

He reads the flight of the ball so so well. He takes a number of contested marks for that very reason....if Paddy can get on the park and progress we will have a seriously good fwd line combined with the many small fwd/mids who can rotate thru

Big factor for next year is Paddy. will take the heat of Bruce as well.

Guys what has Richo done to Sinclair? Is it just the 2nd year increased loads? He lookslike a husk of the player he was at the start of the year and last.
I have very high hopes for Sincs. Want to see him winning contests and clearing the ball and creating plays like weve seen.
I actually believe coaches can over coach players at times.

Jarryn gearys finest hour. He deserves some love.

He just said, " I'll see the great game and spectacular spoil last week and raise you an even better game and 2 goals this week!"

Can't wait for next week.

So next week he will kick 5 goals, bring peace to the middle east, become us president, make bt not call stringer the package (the hardest task of the all) and also make the best hsp ever.

No pressure Jarryn

hahahahha

Roos was still talking about the ground issue. Well, it's not like Melbourne plays 1ce or 2ice on Etihad. They'd probably be playing 6-8 games on there, so if they think the ground's an issue that they find trouble with - then they are unlikely ever to make finals.

What a cop out!

Tattslotto results:

Gresham 19 disposals, 9 CPs, 3 clearances, 5xI50s

Newnes 21 disposals @85%, 8 CPs, 6 I50s
Billings 18 disposals, 7 CPs, 6 marks
Weller 3 goals

Actually Stringer is injured isn't he, might not play, so one down already ;)

I'd be embarrassed by those Roos comments if I was a Melbourne supporter.
The players need to take some responsibility for the dross they serve up at Etihad, and Roos needs to take some responsibility as well.
I agree. Embarrassing comments.

Was a great game to go to today.

Take the time to think about what some of our boys will become after another pre-season under their belts...

Membrey, Hickey, Ross, Newnes, Billings, Acres, Gresham, Sinclair, D-Mac, Paddy and Dunstan... Oh my goodness it gets me aroused just thinking about it.

Look at what Membrey and Hickey have become after they finally have a solid pre-season...

side note: Thought Dunstan's game was a bit underrated on here... thought he was immense in the contest. Unlucky not to get a few FF also after some really good tackles that went unrewarded by the ******s in green. Great leader. Would love to hear him mic'd up.
