Whats peoples thoughts about GWS ability to run out 4 quarters against Richmond after 2 pretty hard games and the last in the wet , How much would that have taken out of them as they looked totally tanked in the last 20 minute

Will the Tigers have the Pies to thank pushing them to the last minute in the wet conditions

Three of their best players to come in are well rested.

More nervous than 2017. 17 felt like a free hit as big underdogs, we had well exceeded everyone's expectations. This feels like the opposite and I really wouldn't be surprised if Giants get up with the fairytale ending.

Paranoid on AFL umpiring, even though deep down I don't really think it exists. Hoping for no ARC blunders that influence the result. If Giants win they have well and truly earned it with their finals run. I can lose to them easier to a Collingwood.

Ridiculously nervous and it's just going to get worse for the rest of the week.
Enjoy the week brother, its not every year you get to play in a flag. No guarantees to get there again. I savoured our 2018 flag and there are no promises in footy. All the best should be a cracker of a game. I hope they pick Marlon Picket, played for my junior footy club

GWS with their ferocious tackling and high pressure game or Richmond with their push the ball forward at all costs style. Both sides have gun full forwards in ‘The boy from Dartmoor’ Jeremy Cameron with GWS and ‘Blairgowrie boy’ and ex GC Sun Tom Lynch.
Who wins and why?

Wow .... Marlion, what a player. Cannot for the life of me understand why this guy has not been picked up earlier.

Understand his background has played a part, but his composure, awareness and game sense is elite.

It would be a great story if selected, but definitely not undeserved!!

I’m hoping like you that having to back up after 3 finals will affect GWS, but I suspect not.

This is a young group, in their prime playing good footy with a nice dose of grit and determination.

The tigers should prepare for a last man standing war that’s brutal and taxing. This will not be easy nor a walk in the park as some have suggested.

Would prefer the Giants to get up, but this game has a Hawthorn/WCE 2015 feel about it to me. Think it'll be done by half time and a snoozefest.

Anyone know if the Giants sold their allocated tickets? Would be good to see heaps of Giants fans in the crowd.

No they didnt.

The left overs were snapped up by Tiger fans yesterday.

Going to be some sort of slaughter on Saturday. Giants have been brave, but they’ve fluked their way thru the last 2 weeks. Could easily be 100+ if rich go hard to the end
I do not agree with this. I think they looked hungry against Brisbane and hungry against your lot and did everything in their power to get over the line! The only concern for them is, do they have enough left in the tank to run out the game? They were cooked in the fouth quarter last week. In saying that, I wouldn't be underestimating them! And I don't think Dimma and the team would be either!

Jesus...lots of non-Tigers supporters are confident. A bloke at my work put $1,000 on Richmond at $1.38....not even worth the risk in my opinion.

Most Richmond supporters who have followed the Tigers before 2017 are not this cocky...haha

I think it'll be much more even than people think.

GWS have a team that worries us IMO

Their talls are an issue if their mids get on top, which lets be honest, they likely will especially at centre bounces.

Their KPD's also stack up really well against our forwards.

I am more hopeful than confident.

Agreed i was much more confident of beating Collingwood than i am of getting up over gws.

Just look at the stats apparently there isn't a single Richmond player better than their gws opponent its amazing we are $1.38

Honest question, but how are Tiger fans feeling this week? Confident? Nervous? Both?

Pains me to say it but I think two flags for this Richmond side in three years is about right.
Always nervous! As for confident... I go from we'll lose, win, lose badly, win easily, lose, win on a constant cycle!!!
Will say that if GWS get up, and they have a 50/50 chance, then it will be a great win and they will deserve all the plaudits that come their way.
Hopefully, Collingwood have paved the way for the Tigers to run over the top of them.

Yeah, I'm not taking it to the bank until the final siren! So much can happen on the day. I'm just really proud that the club has put themselves in a place where they have another opportunity! If we do happen to come home with the chocolates, I'll be stoked, but we know how wrong it can go if we're not 100% switched on too.... Here's hoping! 😬 🤞

Scoring from turnover vs scoring from stoppage. If GWS can avoid turnovers, they will win. Simple as that.

That's what I've been saying. I would be more confident in playing Collingwood.

Its a GF it will be frenetic, turnovers plenty which tigers will capitalise on. Both teams have their strengths. Just feel our run over 4 Qtrs will be too much for them. Pies game plan suits them, ours is ballistic ball movement and speed all over the ground. Plus we to have the super stars up fwd to cause havoc.
