loss of respect
I love how all the Tigger fans who were bagging Cousins last month on BF, are now vigorously defending him. As if he was already drafted. LOL.
Good luck to them though.
Hislop, Cousins, Youth Policy, Wallace, Spin.

No. Both are the same. Both are 'duty of care.'The person that goes surfing and hurts his knee did not choose to hurt his knee either. The choice he made was to go surfing. Nothing more than that. On the other hand, the choice Polak made was to walk in the path of a tram, even though he didn't choose to get injured by doing that. He still made that dangerous choice though, and I certainly wouldn't have made that choice. Adam Ramanauskas did not choose cancer.

You really are a condescending prick aren't you?
The way I see it Richmond should not be allowed another pick. Especially at this late stage.
The bottom line is if Richmond can get this done it is a great coup and great for footy. Regardless of if it should happen, it will be a feel good story. I don't agree with it but I'll be stoked to see cuz tearing it up again.
I think you may be wrong Timmy. If Richmond could still get what they want following the normal process, they would not have gone to such lengths as they are. If the player Richmond were originally planning to select with their PSD pick is eligible for the rookie draft, they could select him there, however, there are 7 other clubs with selections before Richmond in the rookie draft. If Richmond are aware that one of those 7 clubs intends on selecting the player that they want, the only way they can get both him and Cousins is to create another pick in the PSD.

Surely they have more than one youngster in mind. Even in this thread there have been half a dozen names mentioned and not even Tiger fans can agree which one the club is targetting. Remembering also theres a few interstate clubs ahead of them in the rookie draft and they are quite likely to choose locals anyway.
Ah, I see...so it's not about Graham's welfare really is it?
LTI + Promote rookie = Graham looked after, within the rules.
Take a rookie and promote him and take Cousins in the PSD.
Exactly.
Its not about Cousins or Polak.
Its about Richmond wanting the youngster it is targetting (and may or may not have made promises to) and being 100% sure he's available, AND getting Cousins as a bonus.
spot on, its also about the AFL wanting cousins back on the park, I'm just waiting for them to announce that he will also be salary cap excluded as well

no way is cotchin giving up his number 9 he will have for 15 yearsWill he keep the #9?
Cousins? What does Cousins have to do with this? My opinion is based purely on Richmond's attempt to bend the rules by placing Polak on the mature age rookie list. Oh so sorry that I don't have the same bloody opinion as you sunshine.I don't know why Polak/Cousins turned you away at a bar one night, but don't take your frustration out on them.
Making things up doesn't make you right. That is not what I said. He chose to walk in the path of a tram, unless of course the tram jumped off the tracks, or someone pushed him. However, I clearly said that I'm sure he did not choose to be hit and injured by doing so. That is what happened whether you want to accept it or not. Wake-up to yourself and read the words that I actually write and not what you twist and manipulate in your mind to suit yourself. So you're essentially saying Polak chose to get hit by a tram.
You're on ignore now understandably. I won't be reading anymore of your posts. I hope you read the words that I actually typed this time. You're a joke.
