That's a horrible deal for us. Our future third has the potential to be quite low. It's basically nothing more than a 10-12 spot upgrade. It’ll be Amon Compo for Rioli and future 3rd or something similar.
I doubt it’s straight up, that rarely happens.

No thanks.
We have already stated our expectation is amon compo + something else for rioli.I didn’t say it was a great deal.
Port will be very keen not to hand over that pick without some window dressing.
No current season stats available
Yeah ok, all the big talk about PSD and sending him elsewhere is not grounded in reality.
1. If he goes PSD, more than likely he lasts through to Port’s pick, based on the contract on offer and his public commitment to playing there.
2. It’s unlikely other clubs will be keen to touch a ‘not sure if I want to go there’ Willie Rioli. He’s got more baggage than a 747 and given the contract he would be expecting, nobody is putting 4 years on the table for him.
3. He’s not staying, and he shouldn’t anyway, so there is no ‘keeping him’. We’d have to match the contract terms which would be ridiculous.
This is a middling trade and will involve 2nd and/or 3rd round picks - maybe coming from both sides.
It’ll get done, both sides will probably think they’ve got diddled for whatever reason.
Yes but would Rioli want the Eagles to be shafted after the effort , expense and drama following his suspension.
Bad look from an AFL overview after two years of drama also .
I thought Rioli for the Amon compensation was a pretty fair deal, but if Rendell thinks so too then maybe I’m wrong.
Thicc WillyWait till he sees how fat Rioli is.
Port fans will want a straight swap for Frederick and Rioli.Port fans bracing for pick 27 plus Frederick for Rioli.
Which is fair since they were saying Frederick was delist material 6 weeks ago.
Absolutely no to sending back a 3rd. A 4th I could live with.

I wonder if west coast should do what Fremantle did with Rory lobb? That is, do not comply with his trade request
Rioli only sees RioliYes but would Rioli want the Eagles to be shafted after the effort , expense and drama following his suspension.

We should be targeting 27 and their future 2nd for Rioli and a future 3rd
I think we want 27 and Frederick.
We may ask for that. Would be stunned if we got it.
27 would be fair though, so why?
What’s Frederick even worth? A pick in the 40-50 region? I’d say they’d do that tbh but I’d definitely prefer to try get another pick
