Next year's stronger draft is the magical unicorn at the end of the rainbow that you never catchEspecially with how strong next years draft is. Would prefer this over the Amon compo

Four years at $500k tells me Port think he’s something. Is it though? Out of contract, poor fitness record, poor discipline record, lack of exposed form, small forward position not worth as much as others.
I'd snap their hands off for 27.
But hey, if we somehow manage to wrangle more, I'll be impressed.
Would a swap of WCE future second with their future first work with Frederick? Two first rounders next year then…?
Next year's draft is so good you'll be able to pick up a Judd in the third round.
As someone who has fostered aboriginal children, their sense of family is like nothing ive ever seen. They make italians look insular. Going to school in a new town 500 km from his own town my foster boy figured out his extended family within a year - cousins 5 times removed. Phenomenal knowledge of where he sits in families so extended its not funny.Probably the most stupid comment I’ve ever read on this website!!
Also slightly racist!!
Nah....because for the second time they've now decided they're going to grab Pickett from Melbourne ....again!!Graham staying at Tigers (plus Dunkley choosing Brisbane earlier) probably good for us.
Port now have a full suite of picks essentially (with the Amon compo) and seemingly only the rioli deal to get done.

JHF should help them lick their wounds! Port have been busy...So Graham has rejected Ports overtures and informed them that he will be staying at Richmond, that should un-clutter the Junior deal.
Sucks to be Port as they started the trade period with three priority names on the while board:
Dunkley ................. Chose Brisbane.
Junior ...................wants In at Port.
Graham...Chose to stay at Richmond.
So back to square one for Port.
Graham's rebuff now makes things a lot less messy as far as diluted draft capital is concerned.
Given Port now have to try and get JHF over to Alberton, a straight swap for their Amon compensation pick seems the more probable outcome now. Difficult to see picks 2 and 8 being involved in the exchange and North would demand more than just pick 2 anyway.
North will probably ask for a player that Port won't want to part with, as being integral to the deal, which means a long and protracted negotiation period that may not see a trade being done.
When you come after a particular player thats still under contract, the onus is on the pursuing Club to have the players and or draft capital to get the deal done.
Port will need to hand over something substantial by way of a package to secure JHF.
A consequence of which may well mean that Junior is headed to another Club other than Port.
Cannot see any circumstances where he stays with us TBH.The sticking point now will be if port use a future first for JHF in addition to 8 they wont be allowed to trade the future 2nd.
It'll end up being 27 and a player or he goes to another club or stays with us.
Best for all parties if he doesn't. Have we got any WA boys playing for the Crows?Cannot see any circumstances where he stays with us TBH.
Only SPP and Georgiades who are regulars off the top of my head.Best for all parties if he doesn't. Have we got any WA boys playing for the Crows?

No I mean Crows. I know Junior wants to go to Port but there are two teams in close proximity to his family.Do you mean Port?
