No I mean Crows. I know Junior wants to go to Port but there are two teams in close proximity to his family.
I'm not surprisedYeah I thought so - Tugga must've misunderstood.
It's a nice thought, but I get the feeling the Crows don't wanna touch Junior with all his bullshit.
Sorry guys.Yeah I thought so - Tugga must've misunderstood.

Given Port now have to try and get JHF over to Alberton, a straight swap for their Amon compensation pick seems the more probable outcome now. Difficult to see picks 2 and 8 being involved in the exchange and North would demand more than just pick 2 anyway.
Would suck for Junior.Means more likely that Rioli to Port falls over (i.e. Amon compensation pick is used for JHF)... especially with Port announcing that they won't be trading players for JHF.
Would it? He’d still probably get to them in the PSD.Would suck for Junior.
Could very much end up at North. Wouldn’t be surprised if they said **** you to port and picked him ip tooWould it? He’d still probably get to them in the PSD.

So you spend all that time wooing Rioli, selling the club to him on the basis of how great you’ll be looking after him. Offer him a lucrative 4 year contract
Then go yeah, nah sorry mate but it’s not happening
This is after you paraded Jack Graham around Alberton in front of the media whilst knowing you were making a play for JHF, essentially forcing him to bail when he realised there was no hope of a deal getting done
Nice way to give players and their managers confidence that you can be trusted when you say you’re confident you will get a deal done in future
It's what keeps me going.Am I the only one hoping the deal doesn't get done and JHF, Port and North are all embarrassed by it?
I'd say you are the spokesman for the silent majority.Am I the only one hoping the deal doesn't get done and JHF, Port and North are all embarrassed by it?
Yeah, love seeing pa get fked over, such campaigners...Am I the only one hoping the deal doesn't get done and JHF, Port and North are all embarrassed by it?
If Willie goes to the PSD, will more than likely set his price as the same conditions Port offered him.Ofc the most appealing outcome for us is receiving good compensation for him but if Port end up not offering anything of value, would much rather he end up at North with only a 2 year contract there and Port missing out on him.
F**k the both of them.

Well, Rioli and Port sound like a match made in heaven. So you spend all that time wooing Rioli, selling the club to him on the basis of how great you’ll be looking after him. Offer him a lucrative 4 year contract

I would be surprised and disappointed if our club accepted anything less than a second round pick for Rioli from Port.Seriously guys?
If he gets to the PSD, he’s going to Port.
North are enough of a s**t show as it is without drafting Rioli against his will.
They won’t match his contract from Port and they won’t take the risk that he stays in the NT and never reports for training.
Long story short - outside of the ‘moral high ground’ the PSD is the worst case scenario. Easily.
Our best case scenario is that Port are willing to deal that Pick 27 or their future 2nd.
My guess is that at the very least North will want 27 in addition to 8 and next years First - so that’s pretty much clears that off the table.
Maybe Port might manage to get next years 3rd off North coming back the other way?
We could get that for Rioli - if Port get their s**t together in 2023 it won’t be too much different than Port’s 2nd anyway.
You'd have to wonder if pick 27 is still on the table for Willie while the trade for JHF is still up in the air.I would be surprised and disappointed if our club accepted anything less than a second round pick for Rioli from Port.
Anything less is worth no more than a packet of soggy crisps and would show us to be spineless if we accepted it.
I think if PA show themselves once again to be ****holes, and there is at least a reasonable chance of that, I think we would be finding out who else might be interested in acquiring Rioli. The absurd contract that PA have thrown at him kind of complicates matters, who else would want to risk it.
Therefore, in effect, they will be getting him as a free agent, after all that work we did in saving his career. We can’t collapse like a cheap suit though. I have never liked PA, I don’t wish them well, and their actions in this trade period are showing why. If we are offered #27, we should take it and run FAST.
I'd accept giving pick 2, 26 and Rioli for pick 8 and Georgiades. Port then can offer pick 2 and next years first (likely pick 10+) for JHF.Heard a suggestion from Sam Edmund of pick 2 and Rioli for Georgiades and pick 27. LOL.
Not sure on this when I think most would agree that 27 for Rioli is the approx fair value…unless we can bend them overI'd accept giving pick 2, 26 and Rioli for pick 8 and Georgiades. Port then can offer pick 2 and next years first (likely pick 10+) for JHF.
Before people lose their s**t, Rioli has little value as a 27yo sitting out two years, one strike, playing an average 2022, uncontracted and on his last chance.
We'd have addressed a forward need with picks 8 and 20 left for best mids available. Hewitt and ??
