I really hope we don't try to use Casboult or McKay (or anyone else) as ruck. If Lobbe is up to it, being him in. Or even TDK for a taste of senior footy.

Other than that, I hope Byrne is good to go this week. Want to see him with a few games of continuity.

Wasn't part of the reason to bring lobbe in was as a backup ruck?

If he doesn't play this week what was the point.

Nah....
He doesn’t see the game unfold the way great players do, or put his teammates into opportune positions.
Watch us play them last year,Jaeger touched the ball 10 times, but they hurt you on the scoreboard almost certainly every time or result in positive outcomes.
He can get the ball yes, just doesn’t know the game or see it the way others do!
He’ll be the most ineffectual chaz winner perhaps in history,or 2nd after Woewoddin in his drugged up year!

In the blink of an eye 2019 will be upon us. This whole closing up shop and going home for the arvo is the wrong attitude.
For us 2019 has already begun. We need to use NOW as a head start into next year. Bolts asked the players for a more cavalier approach last week and it was an over correction and it ulitimately back fired but I admire what he was trying to do.
The only part of this that is in the lap of the gods is the injury list. I'm hoping we can get a bit of a break on that front for the remainder of the season. We are screaming out for some synergy and balance and I'm hoping Bolts can start putting that puzzle back together with what's left in the season. These are practice matches now. So much can be learned and gained.

As for the hawks.
I wanna see a quarter by quarter approach in this game. These last few weeks we've had the quarter from hell that's killed us.
Turnovers and skill errors by the dozen in a gift wrapped basket home delivered to the opposition. No more gifts.
If we can stem the errors and the tide and stay in the game, that'd be a plus.

Brain : Hawks by 32.
Heart : Blues by 3.

Do it for SOS who stuck his neck out this week in the Media and showed the footy community what spirit is all about.
