Our talls should be too much for them.

English, naughton and Keath are good but gardener and cordy are average. Jamarra a bit unknown, clearly talented but still a young kid.

Need a big game from our key forwards, they should be able to exploit the dogs defenders. And if they are clunking marks, they can't rebound.

I mean, whenever an opposition player gets omitted it's not really a plus for us...they got omitted because they were playing badly and they have someone better to bring in.
Bevo is happy to play the long game with players.

He’s been a staple in their side the past 3 seasons, it’s far more beneficial to keep the squad as stable as possible but you can’t ignore how badly he played last week.

Needs to go back to basics and stop taking on players and trying to execute kicks that are beyond him. Opposition teams have worked out he overestimates how evasive he is.

Their backline looks undersized, Cordy as the chopout ruck?

This mob is gettable

Yep our talls is where we have a clear advantage.

They'll likely have Keath, Cordy and Gardener as their 3 key defenders. Our forwards should be looking forward to that.

Up front talls is just Naughton and Jamarra...not sure McDonald has a good match up tbh they don't even have a proper second tall. But again, in the air we only really have to nullify Naughton and we should be good.

Would be nice to see Charlie Curnow have a repeat of his performance last time he played against the Dogs

A run-of-the-mill medium defender in Williams out for a handy small defender in Duryea.

An extremely talented mid in Smith out for a pretty average developing mid in Scott.

And a mostly inconsequential KPP in Schache out for a second-year KPP with only a handful of games under his belt in Ugle-Hagan.

Meanwhile we're replacing a quality mid with one of the best mids in the comp, and an inconsistent x-factor forward with a passable defensive forward.

Will wait for the inevitable late change from Bevo. Reckon they'll probably bring Stef Martin in, just a matter of who comes out. Who knows with Bont, they'll give him until 20 mins before the game to prove his fitness if that's what it takes.

Looking at the changes though, I think you can easily argue that we have a nett positive change, or break even at worst, while the Dogs have a nett negative change.

Bailey Smith out.

CH7 news.

That means Libbas in the guts with a point to prove

OMac just has to nullify JUH and chop out Weiters

Wash back - we should win.
Can’t wait!

Just a bit disappointed that neither Kemp nor Motlop weren’t named… the team must have been too tall for Kemp and Motlop may require a few more VFL games
