Game day:

Feeling pretty good re our chances against the Bulldogs. Cerra out is lousy luck but Walsh back in makes up for it and a bit more. I dont see Fogarty as a best 22 player but 12 months ago would have said that in relation to Matt Kennedy. A real opportunity for Fog.

Seem to match up well with the Dogs over the last couple of years and their outs will have an impact.

Just watched the Hansen presser. Boy that filled me with confidence.

It seems like within the club, there is real belief. The way we gelled in the last quarter last week felt like a validation moment of their ability and play.

Just back in our system to simply defeat theirs.

Plus Hansen has so much info on how the Dogs play. The real strengths and weaknesses of their players. And so he is best equipped to take on the Dogs.

I think we're going to have a good plan against Naughton.

Cripps will have another killer game as he knows he's going to be forever compared to the Bont. He would want to beat him.

If only Smith was playing as Walsh would have felt same about it. Walsh will still kill it playing in a midfield with Kennedy2.0 and Hewett in it.

Really can't wait for this game.

If Cerra was playing I’d have been relatively confident of a win for the first time in 3 years. Still a chance but he and Walsh don’t play the same.
No they don't, however Walsh is one of the best mids in the game. That is who we've added to our midfield. At worst our midfield got better.

I'd definitely be waiting for tomorrow's RAT results before placing any bets

First game back. New coach and game plan. The midfield was a well oiled machine last week. Would have just preferred some stability.
Voss is preaching the complete opposite. What a good way to put it into immediate action.

Go easy on the rest of the comp before releasing all 5 on them!

Ross the Boss and Brad’s brother don’t give us a much of a chance because our midfield doesn’t bat deep.

We shall see…

Definitely doesn't bat as deep as the doggies (no team does). Will be interesting to see if Bevo learnt from his mistake and puts Libba back in the centre square. With Smith out their only big body is Bont who was touch and go.
