What's the likelihood of Mitchell getting a run ? Waite,Mitchell,Casboult,Walker, betts and garlett would be a pretty impressive forward line

Was Curnow on Black the whole night? S. Black had a very quiet night by his standards. Could allow us to play Curnow on Jobe and let Carrazzo do his thing, which if tonight was anything to go by, will help us in a massive way to win

Curnow needs to stay in, his grunt work and tank make him a great stopper, he knows how to use his body at ground level, really important against jobe watson, we need a back up for carrots. Probably Tuohy needs to have a week in the two's to find some form, he has strung a couple of poor ones together.

Curnow to Stanton. Carrazzo to Watson.

In: Judd Russell/Joseph
Out: Bell Tuohy

The brains trust will probably drop O'keeffe to bring back Judd. Understandable, but still harsh to bring someone in and drop them after their first game in a year.

AJ might be a good match up for Jetta, Davey or Colyer. Still haven't locked down a small defender spot.

Bell led Clearances and one off Contested Possies TG - I think he will stay and ROK will get another go v GC

Do not forget, Carrazzo is one of those special players that can stop Jobe and do his thing at the SAME TIME!

One thing we MUST improve on from tonight is stopping teams from going through the corridoor too easily, that is Essendon's strength and if we don't guard it better than we did tonight they'll smoke us off the rebound. Look at what the Saints did to them, just played really disciplined and did not allow them to get that run through the middle that other teams were allowing them and the Bombers had NO ANSWER and got touched up by over 70 points.

Since then, they haven't been the same, they've been getting thumped by big margins apart from a couple of trips to AAMI.

Curnow's tackling was good, but he was terrible with the ball in hand.
And 12 possies for a full game in the midfield isn't great.

Hopefully Jamo is back.

Wasn't McLeans best game of the yr, but should stay in.
You would think a small def is needed cause 2e ain't doing the job

as long as tuohy does not get dropped for joseph/davies i will be happy
judd should come back in for o'keefe but cant say this should happen, showed something tonight which was good but pecking order wise

the judd is back

mclean to stay in team rest of season, his so called "off" game still tallied 20 touches
