Great point, would be surprised if he did anything of note this season, but would welcome it. All about round 1 next year for Charlie.

Exactly, it's about getting him some confidence, motivation and game form going into the preseason. Unless the miracle happens and we make finals, then it's about that.

If Port and Freo win (which they currently are), and the dogs win on Friday too, then as long as we play before the tigers and giants on Saturday, then we will be in the 8 (at least momentarily) as long as we win. Season far from done

It's the North game all over again. Sigh.
I really don't think any Carlton supporter with a clue thought we'd flog North, in fact most were justifiably cautious given we're normally awful against them, they had hit some good form (yes despite being 18th) and had Cunnington/Anderson returning.

The Gold Coast on the other hand are going like a busted at the moment, we really should be doing the job with little fuss here.

Forward line doesn't consist of short people with occasional glimpses of a tall person this time, we'll be fine.

Don't know what to expect, Harry kicking 5+ would be a highlight for me, be nice to see a Carlton player get the Coleman, been a while.
Likewise, really hope Harry can lock away the Coleman with a big bag this week. Scary that he will probably win the Coleman despite still having so much growth in his game. Gun player.

It’s like they used all their remaining 2021 juice against the Tigers..we usually do well in our return bouts against them at the tail end of the season once their kids have tired.
come on - think you're selling us a bit short there - what about our kids getting tired, jj?

Has been nice to see him progress, seems to be comfortable kicking drop punts, on the left side of goal etc now.

Charlie was meant to be the better one too. :dizzy:

To get the full best 22 out and build continuity, that'll be the day. :thumbsu:

Gold Coasts capitulation also makes it more likely the AFL looks to Clarkson to replace Dew

Meanwhile it’s a relief that Melbourne is back in some form as we need them to defeat West Coast next weekend...

I dont see that....Clarkson is no guarantee at all
Suns have a vibrant list they have access to for the next coupe yrs...without disruption
Injury has ravaged them this year.....injury and still raw
we still need to weary of them taking the 4 pts

send Ed to Miller. He is their 2019 Cripps - doing absolutely everything.

Spanking imo. Will be another % booster hopefully. Then the real tests against Port and Giants await. Finals still there
you named after my fave little deli in elsternwick, rustica?
