Kemp has worked hard to come back from 2 long term injuries and has been pretty good in his VFL time, even having to play KPD.
He absolutely deserves a debut this year.
I'm not sure what you think he's been doing the past couple of years.
haven't been following him as closely as you maybe. Watched his first game back looked great. Since then his numbers haven't been dominant but yes maybe he been asked to play a different role? Maybe my expectations were too high thinking he might get mid 20 games.

Which GCS do we come up against next week after the way they are being mauled today? I'm thinking that they will be totally demoralised after this effort. Maybe they are making a play for Clarkson? (okay, was worth a try:p)

Won’t be playing a Dew coached GC I’m tipping.

We lose this and it's the end of teague. In my opinion.

Knives are already out, losing this will make it easier.

If we lose to Gold Coast after their last 6 quarters of football then it'll be more than Teague that it'll be curtains for.

The difference between GC and North is that North look like giving a damn about some semblance of decent structure to get off the bottom next year. They nearly stiffed Essendon, stuffed us, and gave Geelong a go. I thought they were much worse than that but they’re not the worst team in the comp.
Gold Coast have turned into a puddle that everyone looks like they want to get away from.

And Cunnington and Anderson being ins against us was perfect timing. Goes both ways though, Saints with sizable injuries of a 6 day break from WA

If we played like we did against the Saint with four quarter efforts, hard tackling, hard running, accurate goal kickings then it doesn't really matter which version of the Sun turn up ...itd be Blues win by how much

Thinking Gov for TDK and possibly SPS, Fogarty or Kemp for Owies who needs a rest. If one of those three comes in for Matt there might have to be some adjustments, other players moving further forward up the ground, def>mid/wing or mid>fwd
On yesterday's brilliant effort Gov and Sammy should come in at least. And a debut would be awesome ( Kemp, Ramsey )

Read that Gov had a good game and spent time rucking.

So, JSOS rucking with Gov in support this week I think. Kennedy in the centre square ruck contests won't work long-term as he didn't even jump most of the time. Thankfully GC don't have a top quality ruck to hurt us and they are a rabble at the moment, which they normally are late in the year.

I would love to see SPS come in and dominate...I really want him to be a quality Carlton AFL player. You can see his ability. Could already be off to one of the WA clubs though. I wonder if he's struggled to settle in Melbourne which is impacting his footy.

IN: Gov, SPS
OUT: TDK, Owies

Won't surprise me at all though if they leave SPS in the VFL to earn his way back in. Owies wasn't bad, his tackling and pressure was great.

If the opportunity arises we need to get Charlie Curnow into the game, isolate him inside 50, get his confidence and touch going.

I just hope they allow at least some of us go to the footy next weekend, or I might be off to local football again next Saturday
