Well deserved loss. Not enough skill, not enough composure and too few with the right mix of attributes to be winning footballers.
Similar to last week in many ways, except we just didn't lucky near the end.
Even ignoring the shit goal kicking, the amount of wrong choices we took along the way was just incredible.

Not sure why Laverde or Menzie were in the team after last week, so it'll be fun watching them do the same shit next weekend against the Swans because obviously their form has carried over

At least we are limiting the emabaressment to the regular season only. Finals tickets cost too much to watch that crap

honestly the more typical Essendon thing based on how this season has gone would have been to struggle to defeat the winless away team but finally get over the line by a goal instead of straight up losing, so kudos to us for flipping the script

that was a hell of play by Collins and then mark by Andrews. that was a stupid play by Gresham. He didn't need to even touch the guy. 1.9 in the last quarter is obviously shocking, but we were lucky to be 11.5 at 3QT imo. I mean, Draper and Caddy were 6.0 until just before 3QT! Enough said. So it's an easy come, easy go deal for me

On a hell I think we're fairly similar teams, in that we're bubble teams with some nice parts but need improvements from players and some new pieces

We all knew it was coming. Seemed a foregone conclusion that would happen when they were trying to win their first away match for the year and we were playing for the finals. Seemed even more foregone when we just kept kicking point after point. After Jake missed his 2nd or 3rd in that quarter just had this feeling we were done. It would take Essington to give them confidence they could win an away match and kick start for 25.

Given we so regularly miss targets by foot all over the ground, it can hardly be surprising that we kick badly for goal when games are on the line. We have a mentally weak playing group and have had for many years.
