I feel Owies will make way for Murphy though.
This would be unforgivable. To drop a guy after a 3 goal performance in his second game (including a heroic goal line save) is bottom of the barrel stuff.

If Williams isn't 100% then don't play him. I'd be content with giving him the next 6 weeks to get ultra fit and over his niggles.Crystal ball stuff this week. Anywhere from 1 to 5 changes:
JSOS for Gov is a given
SPS should be elevated from sub
Williams and Murphy are probables
Will Dow get up?
The outs are harder... Guys that could be on the block: Gibbo & Newnesy, maybe Cottrell.
Bummers were isolating Stocker in the goal square on Stringer. Not a good look for us. Could’ve been a nightmare. Coaches where were you? Could Williams come in to take that HBF?
Or does Williams replace Newnes? Williams’ fitness would be tested big time on a wing.
Pitto or Cas could also be in the gun. Is it too early for TDK?
One thing is for sure: Parks, DC, Eddie and Owies were all good and will play.
I thought the midfield was the engine room …Seems like a rare week in recent decades of more players coming back from injury than being added.
Hope Jack Silvagni, Paddy Dow and Zac Williams all ready to rock n roll.
Good to see TDK and Newman get through a game last week in the reserves.
Just get me Stocker out of midfield and into the engine room and I might even get happy with the selectors for first time in a year or two.
Zac Williams swap with him and I will be a happy Blue bagger this weekend.
Still a few players out of position, and Levi and Newnes still in team, but for now, I will take the good moves and be thankful a few more sensible selections have happened in the last week.
it is..lol... I meant to type , get him out of backline, but somehow typed to get him out of where I actually want to see him developed.I thought the midfield was the engine room …
Sigmund Freud would like a word...it is..lol... I meant to type , get him out of backline, but somehow typed to get him out of where I actually want to see him developed.
He will have to wait in line. Carl Jung and Joseph Campbell having a word or two with me before him.Sigmund Freud would like a word...
Why would we undo the last 3 weeks of Setterfield getting back to being able to football by chucking him back on the wing?!Doggies are a hard running team and this game will be won and lost on our defensive running patterns (down the lines) and first use of the ball.
TDK should come in - I really think this is important.
The footage of Murphy during the week and easily the main gripe about him (very poor defensive running, poor tackles counts / effectiveness) in my it would be a crime to bring him back for this game.
Despite Eddies effort last week - it was a one off, and Honey with his extreme power and speed should be brought in for this game.
Dow, and SPS for their excellent work in traffic - SPS hands and feet, both disposal and stands up in the heat, Dow in and under extraction machine.
LOB is still running the wings with good form - lacking in tackle effectiveness but for Doggies should come in - Setterfield on the other wing.
JSOS in forward and Williams in back with some lines broken to deliver onto the 50.
Cas, Pitt, Gibbo, Eddie, Murphy, Newnes rested.
Did you watch the whole press conference?"It's scores for versus scores against and I'll be honest, I think this game could be really exciting.
"It might be a high-scoring game and I think both teams will do their best defensively, but it could end up being a more offensive game."
From the AFL website re: Teague’s presser.
No defense expected this weekend.
If he was that action clearly indicates gifted games. This would be unforgivable. To drop a guy after a 3 goal performance in his second game (including a heroic goal line save) is bottom of the barrel stuff.

As much as we all appreciate Pittonet’s endeavour, the heavy scoring of 2021 has really exposed his deficiencies at the centre bounce. Last year he got away with it as there were so few goals kicked, and he was able to grind his way around the ground at the other stoppages, where he does pretty well.
Need De Koning in to use his leap and get us rolling in the middle. I think he should play this week, he ran it out well in VFL and fills a serious need. This game is very winnable imo, Bevo seems to take the piss against us a bit and the Dogs may not be completely switched on.
bring Setterfield in for Cripps role.. move Cripps to CHF, drop Casbolt. Why would we undo the last 3 weeks of Setterfield getting back to being able to football by chucking him back on the wing?!
Really don't like like this messaging from Teague.
