We still struggle with the fundamentals and this blind idiocy of thinking the game evolved so much run and gun wouldnt work
Oh and its always the list
Adelaide was one of the best teams to watch during the 2016 and 2017 seasons, with its slick ball movement among its best assets.
But that transition has struggled to eventuate over the past two seasons — and Ricciuto believes it’s because the team hasn’t evolved with the game’s modern trends.
“The game’s changed from where Adelaide’s strengths were two years ago where we were the best at moving the ball from the backline to the forward line … you can’t play like that anymore,” he said.
“Win at the stoppage, get it in the forward line and hold it — and we can’t hold the ball in the forward line at the moment.
“It needs to get different personnel and perhaps a different game plan and go from there.”
Its these comments that cement all proof that Roo is running our football dept and demanding coaches coach how he sees it not as the coach does
