'Cyril Rioli is overrated'
'Shaun Burgoyne is past his best'
'Tom Mitchell isn't damaging'
'Jaeger O'meara will never get back to his best'

I love this club so much! What a great way to start the season!

Have never understood the dislike for Henderson, one of my favourites actually. Honestly don't think he's put in a bad game since joining us. Nothing spectacular but pretty solid most of the time. Not everyone can be a star.

He’s arguably one of the most impactful players coming off the bench for Hawthorn who can put in a 20 disposal and a goal a game type performance. He finished with 21 disposals and 2 goals. He tends to play well at the MCG.

Is anyone else worried about Rough. Absolutely adore the the bloke, but looks out of sorts. Has had cancer, still suffering it’s after effects, minimal impact tonight outside one soft junk goal. Still flying for marks with one hand. Captaincy may be a burden. I’m concerned.

My friend mentioned before the game started that he looked half asleep. That was about 2 hours before the bounce when he was having a bit of a warm up.

Yep.. the reverse applies too re letting it sink in.... how O'mera in the first quarter dominated the stoppages... kept his feet, eyes up, walking out of congestion, unlike i have seen him before in brown and gold :)

If he can stay on the park all year he will be a very different player by the end of the year. Just needs to get that confidence in his body back

Cox to Sydney mid season draft

Big boy is almost Martin Pike like being in the place where the ball drops. Easier than chasing it.

Gunners up there in the highest metres covered

The appetite is obviously back. Bank the four points and move on

And how was the longer version of Eminem at half time. Great rev up music

He had a really good game tonight. I agree. And I’m a poster who doesn’t always suggest he should be picked. I’m a dumbass

Err...yes it does. You obviously haven’t been keeping up with what’s going on. What a stupid, ignorant, knee jerk of a comment.
Sorry, my comment was knee-jerk?

Our captain has one ordinary game and you say he's still suffering 'after-effects' of cancer (whatever that means, he was cleared of cancer 12-15 months ago) and that the captaincy is too much of a burden.

How dare you call me ignorant, you alarmist. Where's your proof that you're not talking out your behind?

Entire supporter base - doesn't want any injuries to JOM's knees.

Jaeger O'Meara - doesn't want any injuries to JOM's face.

I bet his Mrs would have been super worried when the cut reopened in the 3rd quarter.

I wonder if injuries is all that saves Doc or if Clsrko gives one more chance. Really the only disappointment of the night. Needed that goal.

Rough is a new father... anyone thinking that he isn't going to be impacted more by that than ANYTHING else.. has never been a new father =P probably training on 3 hours sleep a night.
