You're the sort of person who goes to the dentist twice a year, aren't you? Why?
Nope. Dentist phobia :tearsofjoy:

I dunno how far I'm going to get with this but so far Shiel is getting a lot of attention. Heppell started well enough, he's playing on the wing. Myers tried to LEFT LEG the thing and missed the big sticks. The Giants are reading the ball far better than we are. Score so far: 6-3

I'm watching the replay as well. Very interesting how the Giants were allowed to throw the ball and put it deliberately OOB without giving away frees.

The game was over when McGrath was chasing that GWS defender about 15 m from our goal and McGrath allowed the giants player to get on the ground, pick it up and dispose of it to his team mate.
Disgraceful.

said it time and time again Heppel is the worst captain in the game has no leadership qualities at all and most of all he doesnt do anything inspiring to pick the boys up also has a pea sized heart, he and Zaharakis both need to be moved on Zaharakis is scared of his own shadow.
I'd stay clear of the this board for a few days, very hostile place right now and even though your comments have valid points the locals don't like hearing it from outsiders.

At least he stands by his club, which is more than I can say for every single captain in the history of your piece of shit club.

Thanks for the input.

Bye.

Now 12-3, Hurley just got outbodied at full back. Defence really misses Hooksey.
The defence was an absolute shambles all day.

They repeatedly ran off their players and then were surprised when nobody else picked them up.
Just zero communication.

Team defence is shoddy as well. 1v1 they're trying their hearts out and getting beat, second efforts are there though. But they need to be backing each other up as well, not sure that's there even at 15 minutes into the first quarter.

dunno about team defence but at that point we still owned the ground I thought. Even the comms were saying we had the full ground zone working and had gws pinned and resorting to up the line kicks

id be interested to know what happens if our first 4 behinds are goals

sounds extreme but it probably changes the entire complexion of the game
We'd have taken a four point lead into the first break, assuming nothing else changed (though it would have obviously, since you'd go back to the middle). There's so much else missing than just the scoreboard though.

It's like many cogs but not quite a machine.

my exact thoughts - they put up a stat that we ran the least amount of km on Telstra tracker by a long way, league wide

felt like we were zoning, marking territory, hence the less running.
Pretty sure that GPS data is wrong. journos on twitter saying so. First half numbers looked about right but the second half is ridiculously low.

Hooker, Daniher would have made a fair difference, not sure if it counters Kelly and ward but we really missed that defensive anchor and the forward get out option.
Kelly has a tendency to dine out on us.
Im rather glad he didn't play.

Hooker and Daniher likely make little difference.
Our forward entries were rare and chaotic, and we gave up goals very easily with how exposed our defence was.

That said, BZT and Stewart should be their replacements, rather than Brown & Ambrose.
if the coaching panel wasn't confident of a win, why not get some game time into kids.
By the same token, Myers and Bags could have been replaced by Parish & Laverde. They may be developing, but at least they can run and chase.

We had the F50 entries but a lot of the time they were straight to GWS players or into space. Zaharakis is really good at picking out opposition defenders.

I haven't yet been able to put into words that performance yesterday. I never bought into the "top 4 side" bullshit but I didn't think it could get as bad as that, in hindsight I probably should have.

Has anyone came out and confirmed if those GPS numbers were correct or not? If so that is an absolute disgrace

I actually hate the fact that I'm stuck supporting this club...

AFL have confirmed that they are incorrect, yeah.

The fact it wouldn't surprise anyone if they were accurate is an indictment on yesterday's performance, however.
