Uggh...lets hope it's minor & he might get back for rd 2 or 3 at worst.

Listening to Oscar Allen talk on the podcast today, it sounds like they're being extra cautious with any little niggles. Was discussed when talking about the fifteen or so players (himself included) who didn't come out at training for the first 20 minutes the other day.

I don't want to repeat what another poster said.

Some injuries clubs try and manage...........young players ramping up their training and going too hard too early.

I'm hoping it's not the case with Culley.

I don’t think it’s that

He still played the later game against Adelaide and whilst he hadn’t been sighted doing full training at the open sessions he’s still doing some work

All preseason players have been pulled out of training at any hint of an issue so if it was anything other than minor load management he’d be walking laps

To add to my point this was at training yesterday

With how GREAT our medicos are we won't see him again until Round 15

It is still very early for 2023, but as others have mentioned we seem to be more preventative/proactive in our injury approach this season compared to previous seasons.

I'd say with how our medico team are tracking this year so far we are likely to see him around round 4 rather than having longer delays.

This is a real positive and cudos the the club, the negative is that its the old mans injury. Hard to shake off.

Let's hope this is true. We know we're not challenging for any premierships this year so no need to run the gauntlet in round 1.

Still think we have a team that should beat North.

And so it begins, the return of the midweek mystery injury

I wish Yeo the fastest of returns, but given the history of our medical team i wouldn't count on him being fit to play next week either

****ing lame.

over-reaction time

It might take a few years, but the club will be better off when ‘injuries waiting to happen’ like Yeo, Naitanui, Shuey and McGovern are done.

Soooo frustrating.

Yikes, that's deflating.

Missing is bad but I'm not sure where this actually leaves Yeo now, after the last 2 seasons ruined with injury. Not often 30yr old players suddenly get a clean bill of health and a good run at it this late in their careers.

Calf's are an old man's injury and happen pretty frequently once it starts, especially for explosive players. Look at Shuey.

Oh wells, Culley or Hewett in plz.
