thanking youPlaying he will be.
If a player can't get through a scratch match without getting injured then he won't get through an AFL game either. Would you rather Tabs had lined up on Sunday, done his hammy and left us short for the game? Tabs is coming of an interrupted preseason and need the match practice, best 22 or not.The question is.. why the fu** are guaranteed 22 even playing scratchie? That’s for Tucker, Blakely etc to gain fitness and form.
we all know nuclear Armageddon would happen before we got a flagIt's all part of JL's the grand plan.
Cox goes forward, kicks 5 and Hamling blankets Thilthorpe.
Treacy kicks 3 and wins 20 hitouts as relieving ruck.
Lobb is now firmly out of best 22 and everyone on Bigfooty is happy the dude that dared tried to leave our club while getting paid too much is gone.
Memberships sky rocket and the club becomes a powerhouse for the rest of civilisation (it lasts 12 months when Russia and the US bring about nuclear Armageddon)
Or go to the draft since it is full of KPF players in the first round. We are so lucky the club used their picks on a KPF this draft. Just shows how little depth we have the in the forwardline. With Tabs being injury prone and Lobb being a flight risk, we probably should look at Macca to add to our ranks.
Apparently Thilthorpe might not play. He’s only done 40 min of match sim this preseason and might be underdone
We will see how he does at the end of the seasonOr go to the draft since it is full of KPF players in the first round.
I never said he would be the match winner, just that i think they are the only two other tall forwards they have. I think Logue has him covered easily.Fogarty has been ordinary his entire career so far. Logue a good match up.
Huh?Apparently Thilthorpe might not play. He’s only done 40 min of match sim this preseason and might be underdone
They also have Himmelberg.I never said he would be the match winner, just that i think they are the only two other tall forwards they have. I think Logue has him covered easily.
What’s with Keitel? Any word with him.. he trained last week or the week before with FremantleWe are so lucky the club used their picks on a KPF this draft. Just shows how little depth we have the in the forwardline. With Tabs being injury prone and Lobb being a flight risk, we probably should look at Macca to add to our ranks.
Thilthorpe & Fogarty.Tabs going down may have a silver lining
Unearth Coxy at CHF...could turn out to be a great move in the long term
Do we really need another tall then in the back 6. We have Pearce , Logue and Chapman for height .
Anyone know the talls at Adelaide --I know that Tex is out .
And they have Himmelburg and Thilthorpe (excuse my lisp)
I forgot he existed. They also have Himmelberg.
How will our KPDs get any sleep?
we all know nuclear Armageddon would happen before we got a flag
Thilthorpe & Fogarty.
Question of whether we play Himmelberg as 3rd tall.
Our defence is settled & least area of concern. I worry more about our midfield with our best outside players missing & likely to impact on our forward line without Tex.I suspect all 3 play, it’s the back line and midfield that don’t look as strong as the forward line.
IMO
Not in the forwardlineIf tabs and Lobb are out, no big deal. In come Treacy and Meek.
Given Freo haven't been smashed by covid isolation numbers yet, we'll be fine.
To contend we are going to need depth, this year we actually have depth.
Sorry I slightly misinterpreted it but here it is from an SEN article on Rachele earlier today:Huh?
He has played both games, so no idea what you are talking about.
Walker, Laird & Seedsman all out.
Dawson & Milera very doubtful.
Would prefer we play Cox so we will know for future reference how he will perform as a swingman.Taberner news probably sures up Banfield's spot. He's not a popular pick in the Best 22's but he's always about the mark with the coaches selections as that 3rd hybrid medium that can lead up and mark in the forward 50m.
