Well I obviously wouldn't be doing these trades next week so it wont affect me in the no trades left club.

I'm saying that I should do them now while unlimited trades are still active for this round. LOL!
Whitfeild > rook (say Scrimma, for the cost of no trade this week) 400k banked
Next week The newDOCman 1 trade and150k banked....hhmmmm

To be fair to the Carlton board, he was exactly as they advertised - has periods of judd-like performance but disappears otherwise

I was regretting not going with him at half time, but relaxed by full time.....now if only I hadn't moved off Newman - I am now a vote for ditching the JLT games....
Shit coaching...he was the reason they got back in the game in the 2nd quarter only to be put up fwd for the second half.

I might just leave it and if Williams goes down or spuds it up and Newman keeps killing it then I will get Newman in that way.

I am pretty happy with how my structure is now (6 premo midfield) so will just roll with it and see what happens.

Think I'm finally done with stuffing around with my team.

My backline is very suss but gonna take a risk and hope it holds together until I can start upgrading back there.

I think the backline risk is worth it with having such a sexy looking midfield as this one.

I’m going a very similar team JM. Gonna free ball it and see how the wind blows.

Only differences I spot are:
Ridley Scrimshaw Oliver Neale MCrouch vs
Hanley Dusty Sloane Rocky Greene

Good looking team there mate and very similar setup. :thumbsu:

Going with my risky backline means I needed Burgess at D8 so I can swing Moore up there in case it needs to be strengthened on occasions.

Gotta say Newman is a splendafarous kent isn't he.:moustache:

Get your hand off it.

While your sitting on your other hand making in numb to give your other hand achop out :moustache::moustache:.

Cheers bud.

Yep. I turfed Wilkie yesterday for Baby John D8. Will eventually open a swing for Moore later.

Thats the thing isnt it. Is he such a shock ?
Some are just natural scorers. He has always looked that way. His 2017 debut rook scores a bit of a clue.... 73, 105, 80, 59, 151, 93, 72, 89, 104, 90, 88.....it was about as good as we hope for. Were also clues he can go big.
Horse just wouldnt give him a proper run or let him settle last year. Not the first guy Horse has potentially screwed over. Was a fan favorite up here and gets involved, makes big metres, with a big hoof.
He's right in his prime at 26. Targetted for HBF with Docherty out. Was in a lot more teams a month ago but for some reason thousands went off him as he got no talk whilst other options were discussed. Plenty took a punt on him though for a 90-95 avge def. He isnt totally out of the box and might even be a regular SC by next year.

Wait till he gets a 65 next week. Oh shit. Do you or dont you with him playing Sydney in Rnd 3 ? I reckon most will pass unless he gets 90+ due to awkward price.

In his first year in 2017 he was more or less playing the role he did last night, and we were a better team for it IMO

From memory last year Horse the campaigner dropped him after a couple of rounds, and then bought him for the last 6-7 games but for some unknown reason made him play a scrubby defensive role (and sent him up forward occasiojally) which was stupid as he was a better field kick than most of our defenders.

I told my Carlton mates they got a good one, he'll do well if he stays in this role. However my worry is that I'll jump onto him in 2 rounds time and every team's best defensive forward will start flocking to him like the salmon of Capastrano.

Horse reamed him harder than he reamed Titch. No wonder they leave the stable.
