For every team with Guilden on the ground there appears to be 10 without. Similar with Rowe.

Kudos to those that did, but I don’t know how people started him on the ground to begin with TBH.

Campbell, Powell, Jordon all above him before the round started in the eyes of many. Throw highly rated Berry in to the mix, and also mature-aged strong bodied Scott and I’m surprised he got the E let alone started on the ground in SC teams.

Not necessarily mid pricers - teams that avoided most of the big 6. Flynn at R2, Laird instead of Lloyd, Macrae instead of Neale, Dusty or Dunks instead of Danger. Frees up a heap of cash to go extra keepers elsewhere.

Note - Im not one of the above, having selected 5 of the big 6.

I'm all of the above except I have both Neale and Macrae and my score is still not great. Too many premos going 5-10 points low and wrong rookies benched for me.

Jordan scored well with a 78. No way im watching a replay of Dees v Anchors so can someone say if it was a worthy 78 pt game or kissed on the dik a bit ? 15D 5 mks 5 tkles sounds sweet as hell.
Kent Brockman 2 goals but 22 pts WTF !!! They won and he kicked 2 so at least he's safe for a week and gets to reload.
Rowe also stuck on my bench with Kent, but impressive and gets a starting gig next week.
Just 3 guys today.
Hopefully somewhere around 2050-2100. I;d be happy with that and hopefully anywhere top 20000 start considering i couldnt change anything. Gawn was my set and forget (c). Primo rucks can GAGFed.
Dont have Bergman so i'll watch him as a priority today and see if worth targetting for a full stable of yearlings.
Sux to be in Sydney after such great weather in Tas.

Not sure the SC score counts for much, but he was terrific yesterday. Ran to the right spots, read the play well and was in and under. Also gave away a goal when he was on the run 25m directly in front by passing to a bloke in the goalsquare (stupid idiot should have been selfish). Also missed a pretty easy shot at goal. Could have easily been a 100+ game. His JS is secure IMO.

He is likely to play his 300 at home at G . We have viney melksham hibberd plus the brown and weiderman to come back . Jones will likely to play a fair bit at casey after his 300 th.

Not an amazing start, but i'm pretty happy with the roles my team has, even if the performances weren't quite there for some of them.

Missed out on both Gulden and Rowe's score which is a little bit annoying, but small FWD rookies are notoriously volatile, could have easily been a Brockman 25 instead of 100's so not too worried there.

Gulden looks some player though, probably has to start on field now.

Seriously though probably a reasonable point. The could reweight the points allocation. A little less for an intercept mark, a bit more for a clearance even one that doesn't hit the mark. A bit less for Danger style 40 meter aimless hoofs, a bit more for a hitout even if it ends up with a neutral result. etc

How do we get a bit more for a clearance when currently zero points are awarded for clearances?

That’s not a win. That’s ludicrous changing your entire structure in a knee jerk reaction to trade in someone who always plays well Round 1 anyway.

Now you’ve lost the best MID in the game, a proven MID keeper and Young for a guy who has never played a full season, a guy who’s only had one good season during a COVID season, two absolute spuds and an unknown rookie.

Okay so which of Bergman and Sharp is the unknown rookie and which is the absolute spud?

Kozi should be selected next week, especially after such a great comeback. He was ok I thought, didn't do anything special but supply was poor at times. Better to give him plenty of games this year and discover his ceiling - we aren't winning any flags.

Brockman ain't going anywhere unless we are crazy. Has a touch of class and looks like the sort of player who will step up under pressure. Ignore his SC score which was heavily affected by a poorly timed 50m penalty.

He gave away a goal to handball to a team mate. Coaches love that stuff!
