Time for another double upgrade...
18 trades & $537,400 in the bank
Screenshot_20190520-052054_SuperCoach.jpg Screenshot_20190520-052111_SuperCoach.jpg

Thinking this week will be (pending team selections and injury updates)...
Duursma > Hurn
Scrimshaw > Macrae via Rozee & Drew

Uses up virtually all my bank ($2k approximately)..

Plenty of other players under consideration, some future planning is in place to facilitate future trades.

Thoughts, opinions, any better suggestions? I am all ears...

You definitely need some premo defenders mate.

I would be getting 2 of Whitfield\Hurn\Lloyd in right now.....

Good looking team! Like the forward planning. Not quite sold on Taranto, certainly not a dud buy but think he is a rung down from the blokes you mentioned (closest to Sloane). He won't have a junior midfield to beat up on every week like he got yesterday. Potential to pay off...yes, could he be a top 10 mid... maybe, but feel he is a little short of the top group at the moment

Cheers mate.

I know the obvious choice would be to grab Fyfe or Jelly but I am pretty scared of both of them getting suspended (Fyfe) and injured (Fyfe, Jelly)

Zerrett doesn't have the ceiling of the above 2 but at least he isn't as injury prone and rarely gets suspended.

It's a bloody tough call in some ways.

I don't mind Sloane either but he has West Coast and GWS coming up so will get tagged to death. Would be better to bring him in after he has played both of them.

If Constable holds his spot this week I might prioritise getting either Lloyd or Whitfield to pair with Hurn. Can see the appeal of getting two, feel Rozee and Moore can pinch hit for a week or two if needed however.

Just feel like I need another Premo mid now and Macrae could go bonkers against North this week.

Mundy would be great to get forward but at 590k I feel he will slide at some stage, same with Boak his high BE means he isn't a must buy this round.

But hey at least I have the option to double up, cheers for chiming in mate

Can't go wrong with Macrae either.

He should have a field day this week.

Am putting the big C on him but probably wont need it as I have the VC on Grundy. LOL!

Yeah can understand your concerns, however I think most players come with some element of risk attached. I actually rate Merrett as an option, feel he is a better buy than Taranto but can understand the appeal. Out of the players you listed I feel Fyfe is still the pick of the bunch personally, I feel it is a sitaution where all are good options but a bit of luck is needed to nail the best choice

Guess I have a couple of weeks to assess the mid premos that I don't have before bringing who I want in.

Anything could happen by then such as Fyfe breaking his leg, Jellys groin clapping out again or Sloane turning to poo. LOL!

GWS have a good draw now and Jelly is still a POD at 9% in teams.

Will be filthy if Fyfe breaks a leg now... he already has had the Roughy treatment this season so the kent better stay on the park!!!

I'll be doing the Roughy treatment for the 3rd time this season if I bring Fyfe back in. :drunk::thumbsu:

Have already used the Roughy move on Hore and Dunkley. Haha! :moustache:

Premo mids I am considering are Jelly, Fyfe, Zerrett, Sloane and wait for it TARANTO.

Taranto is an interesting one. Only 5% ownership too and has flown under the radar a bit.

Does Taranto have what it takes to be a top 10 mid this year?

I wouldn't bother. Floats around that 100-105 bracket.

Had Timmy all year and i'm a big fan. Saw his breakout season coming but i don't see why anyone would trade him in to complete their teams at this point.

M8 option perhaps but up until this week his average was 102. Hardly world beating. Can't see it improving with Cogs and Jelly around either.

Started Sloane as well funnily enough. Happy with Rory but he's definitely due a tagged game and it just so happens there's a low life in Hutchings this week.

Yep so far:
Hore
Fyfe
Whitfield (pending)*
Balta (pending)* :moustache: haha probably not, seriously saw that campaigner potentially not even scoring 100 for the season let alone in a game.

Just glad to see it has become an acceptable practice these days!

I'll probably grab Fyfe, Jelly or Zerett I reckon.

Sloane not a bad pick too. Wll be interesting to see how he handles the Hutchings tag this week.

Definitely out of those 4 for me.

The Roughy move is common practice in SC these days my friend.

Heck, look at that campaigner Here2tellyouwhy , he has used it 4 times on Lycett and Westhoff combined. LOL! ;)

I got NFI what I'm going to do this week. Too many dud rookies stinking up my weekly score but nothing decent to cull them too. With very little in the kitty I might have to settle on a semi premium who has dropped in price. If Drew doesn't get back he might become Luke Bruest for a sneaky F6 POD option.

Clark, Parker, Atkins on the block but who knows who comes in. Wills probably has the best scoring potential but I don't his JS at all; especially at elevated price. May go 1 week late on Stocker or 1 week early on Young. . Stocker hasn't set the world on fire with his scoring but is finding enough of the ball for a kid who's played 3 games. If he holds his spot I'll consider him.

$2k from going:

ROB > Young
Duursma > Neale

But can do it going:

Constable > Neale

Worth it? Happy to go early on Young as I want to do a double downgrade the week after and there were a lot of rookies on offer (whether they are any good, I'll see in another week)

I should have got macrae this week. I could have traded Keira to Macrae and had 500 dollars to spare but then I would have had to play stocker and hayes on ball. I got junkley instead and I was ******* kicking myself. I didnt even think of Mundy also which would have been even better in hindsight.

Clark and Answerth rewarded me with my faith handsomely. SC gods ****** me again.

It's one score. Dunkley was a good trade in. It's not your fault that Bevo is a ruiner who likes nothing more than messing around with a winning formula just so scrubs like Wallis can have their turn in the midfield.

I know im just salty af right given they all spudded it up at the same time and its derailed my season. My fwd line is complete once I move dunkley up there and I got all the good ones excepr i wish I got mundy instead of daniel now, Seems he only likes playing under the roof little shit.

just realised i can go ROB > Boak and Moore > Lloyd this round.
but it leaves Parker on the bench and just looking at him is making me sick.

should i do it?

Try a piece of black electrical tape over the bottom right corner of your screen for a week. Then peel and sideways his arse to Young next week.

He sure does look sexy as f@rk at D1 in my team kenty.

Still somewhat of a POD too as he is only in 14% of teams. :moustache::thumbsu:
**** 14%
I haven't checked since last year when he was like 2 and ended up 4.8 or some shit

Love how Hurn can be the number one defender by round 9 and still only 14% ownership.
Do people think this is just a game :drunk:
