I am now considering these as my four trades over the next 2 weeks

would leave me with Jordon at M8 as the only on-field rookie and 14 trades left

He's a Mr Fix it type so he can be thrown anywhere.

While they are messing with rucks and dropping Stanley its anyones guess where Blicavs plays - he was playing mid and all over the place during the StK game but should have been down back.

Because there's so many injuries, all teams are looking way too similar so early in the season. Usually this happens post byes and late in the season.
I had a few good weeks and only moved up from ~300 rank to ~180 rank.
I had a few bad weeks and only dropped from ~180 rank to ~300 rank.
If you're in the top 1000 and you want to make up ground, you need to find a few PODs.

Does Cerra need CBA's to score well? He averaged 15 per game in rounds 1 to 4. Only had 2 on the weekend. Mundy and Fyfe might be getting more now permanently after doing well when Cerra was out.

fwiw, here are Josh Kelly's CBA numbers for the last 3 rounds:

rd7 = 4 CBA's
rd8 = 24 CBA's
rd9 = 12 CBA's

Very odd

Definitely getting more midfield time, be it wing or in the centre, but still such high variance

Rowe was a good hold, but I'm pleased to be rid of him, his head looks like a potato!

It was Brockman or Berry out last week, 50/50 that one but I kept the one playing.

Cerra will be a great pick up at $400k. I held to save trades, but roughy-ing him would have been good too.

I'm looking at Touk for the same reason. Trouble with POD's is if they stink it up you're in trouble.

Captain choices this week will be key imo, as a lot of us will skip Max after being let down. Chance to make up some points (or lose some).

If he was 540-550k I would be all over him this week. I think for me to be able to upgrade Scott/Dev Rob to Cerra next week I need to save the extra 40k and will probably go Steele instead. Or I will max my cash somewhat and get Lyons in.
Touk has merit though


Powell & Warner to Lyons/Jelly/Steele and Heeney most likely option. Or Mills & Heeney and push Laird back to mids.

DevRob or Scott to Cerra pending prices next week

That will leave me 14 trades and probably hold till the byes

He's a good tagger too, that's what has slowed him a bit previously. Hasn't been doing it this year that I've seen, but that's the potential downside, if he does it again.

Can't see Rowell making a difference when he comes back, as I'm sure he will get nursed through the rest of the season.

Hes a defensive mid.
It works for steele.
The potential is there for mass points.
I think hes a great pick mate I doubt he tags anymore he GC's best mid imo.
If i was dew id be tagging with greenwood.

Probably, the point I was trying to make was Danger and Neale would probably cap Guthrie and Lyons ceilings not really whether they were good picks or not.

I am targetting Lyons as will be top 8 getting expensive though now, already got Guthrie taking a leap of faith that Danger doesnt kill him completely but he looks really good this year.

Not sure that's the case. Lyons went big last year when Neale was in the side and fully fit.

His role changes all the time. When he plays as a ruck/mid he scores pretty well, but he often gets sent to plug holes and his scoring too unreliable. Love him as a player, but his ceiling is too low considering the wide deviation in his scores
