Probably going with Powell > Zorko and Warner > Heeney

Was considering bringing in Cerra but he will drop further in price after this round so will hold off for now, Longmuir saying he is sore is a concern too.

What to do with this dumpster fire! Happy with the cash gen, just got to make sure I get the right players in/out at the right time.
I’ve ran through quite a few different looks but just not sure. Spent more time playing with this than my Johnson lately. Which is saying something 😀

Any suggestions welcome.

Plenty of good rookies, but not enough premos.

I'd say Powell and LDU out. Steele and Merrett would be affordable - instantly makes Taranto M4.

Gulden can wait a week. He isn't losing money. Next week I'd downgrade him and upgrade Cox.

Kelly named in the forward line has me second guessing my trade.
I'm the same mate. Finlayson in is somewhat reassuring but not really a similar player to Toby so it's going to depend on the makeup of their bench

Bowes will only miss 2 week plus a bye ...me feels .

Brayshaw might miss a week or two
Trade Toby out .

To
Hind or Hall. Types
Id go
bowes to daniel.
greene to heeney.
Greene out 100%, up to you who to, but a round 14 player might be best. TMac or Sidebum maybe?

You might be better to hold Powell even with the cash lose, as he's playing this week and you probably can't get anyone worth trading to. If you really want to trade him, maybe Bailey Smith or Tom Green? I'd hold though.

Edit: Heeney is a good shout. Then you have cash to upgrade Powell.

Thanks for the advice. Not sure on Bowes going forward, given other Def premos he's not even Top 10 anymore.
Happy to trade out Greene so I dont have to play McCreery / waterman on field.

If I'm looking a value pick to bring in a good premo with the second trade:

Heeney v Hogan v Daniel LLoyd

Either -

Bowes + Powell > Mills and Whitfield or Bowes + Powell > Mills and Jones

Don't like any <530k R12 defenders besides Whitfield & Houston, and Houston's shoulder scares me.

Whitfield was coming into my team by R13 anyway, can deal with a 40k drop considering I'd have indefinite donuts until Bowes is back if I dont trade.

A few here trading Cox, but there's a case to hold him.
I know his BE is high, but he looked great getting 30 points in a quarter last weekend. He is one decent score from getting his BE back down, then getting upwards of $350k.
His JS is superb, more so than any other DEF rook. His DPP remains handy.

If you can upgrade him to finish your forwards, great! But I feel he has not tapped out yet.

sooooo rookie selection carnage has me hurting. Not sure that I want no playing bench cover in the middle with the way this week has started, wouldn't be surprised if I cop a a late out or a warm-up injury

I could do:
-Powell to Hall
-Brockman to Heeney

Gives me a playing E on every line (if Murphy gets selected)

hmmmm

or I just stick to my original plan and have 1 or 2 non-playing E on the bench, which is scary

I'm thinking of trading him this week. Agree with what you say but is his JS that great? Will he be the sub again soon? Being the sub kills the cash gen and if he gets made sub again it will be the same problem.

It's him or Warner out this week and Warner's bye is better.

Heeney is scary doesn’t that scare you?

Very much so, but if he got through this weekend and scored 70+, I probably would have brought him in next week anyway

I reckon you flick Warner at his bye that’s what I’m thinking

In the next 2-6 weeks, GWS are set to regain Kennedy, Perryman, Greene, De Boer, Daniels and Cogs. Where does that leave Jelly for the 2nd half of the season? Does he score better or worse with a stacked team? Newcomer Green demands midfield time and is playing very well.

Still undecided on Jelly vs Boak.

I got him last week good start so far
