Hogan would kill me Mentally. injury worries aside, even yesterday he was absolutely flying, Giants in control, Himmelberg a shot from 50 to go well clear and Hogan has the ball reversed. He gets a little bit too comfortable with himself at times. If his running capacity is back to where it was at the Dees he’s a very liable option though.
He could barely run in the last quarter. But with Hogan you never know if he's just sooking or is tired. Wouldn't expect him to be super fit yet, but he drops his head too easily for me.

Zorko's durability worries me but i think i have to roll the dice with the lack of decent forwards this year either him or greene is coming in this week.
Any other decent forwards anyone is risking as an almost premo trade in this week?

Im trying to consider whether im brave enough to grab heeney (inj risk) or hawkins (up and down key forward scoring) but probably not.

Hall has put a dent in his scoring.

His 3 round average drops to 100 after this weekend & I think he and Dusty will average similar from here on out.

Trade nets me 150 odd k which is a fair price to pay for a trade I can afford & helps me jump on Steele who shouldn't drop too much lower.

Buy low, sell high :thumbsu:
Hahaha you are tricking yourself. Have fun.

Because you’re trading out one of the best forwards from a line where there are very limited options.

There's plenty of options.

None as well priced as Dusty is right now who I feel will average very similar to Ziebell and will free up 150k to allow me to grab Steele who I also think is priced as best he will be to bring in all season.

But wouldn’t you wouldn’t want Steele/Dusty as well as Ziebell not instead of? There must be another way of getting Dusty.

I've got plenty. Just don't think Ziebell maintains what he's started with & can help me grab two players I like with the timing & price.

I’m reluctant to trade out any Rd12ers for bye reasons. But then Powell and Bergman do need upgrading at some point.

Powell -> Hogan
Bergman -> Heeney

is what I’m considering. Rookies onfield Warner and Jordon.

With Bowes hammy I think I might trade Bowes to Cerra and swing Laird Back and Powell to Steele that will give me Full premo Back & Midfields

Whatever way you try to spin it it isn't a good trade.

Zieb > Dusty is not the dumbest idea. Last year ForeverHardcore and myself both 'halved' Sicily (603k) in Rd10 (who was averaging 110 at the time) to Stewart 443k for a 160k profit and upgraded a rookie to Duncan with the profit. Sicily copped a season ending injury 2 games later and dropped 65k while Stewart averaged 106 from the time of trade to seasons end so it turned out to be a winning move. It's not ideal but if you don't have the cash gen on the bench and you're not keen on 'downgrading' a high scoring on-field rookie, then you need to get creative with your list management to complete your team in a timely manner. It's not personal, just business. :moustache:

Can you confirm Ziebell is set to get a season ending injury in two rounds? If so, no brainer trade.
