Zieb's only a game away from an injury these days. Sometimes it pays off to be on the front foot.
Yeah, but he doesn't get injured and averages 100 from here. Or Hall gets injured (which is just as likely) it's a waste of a trade.

It's a good way to run out of trades with an incomplete team though.

I once traded Walters out after only 5 games even though he was averaging 100 at the time because I had a feeling he was going to get injured. He got injured 20 minutes later on 17 points, dropped 50k and missed the next 2 games. :moustache:

Zieb > Dusty is not the dumbest idea. Last year ForeverHardcore and myself both 'halved' Sicily (603k) in Rd10 (who was averaging 110 at the time) to Stewart 443k for a 160k profit and upgraded a rookie to Duncan with the profit. Sicily copped a season ending injury 2 games later and dropped 65k while Stewart averaged 106 from the time of trade to seasons end so it turned out to be a winning move. It's not ideal but if you don't have the cash gen on the bench and you're not keen on 'downgrading' a high scoring on-field rookie, then you need to get creative with your list management to complete your team in a timely manner. It's not personal, just business. :moustache:
Part of staying aggressive
Sicily ended up injured was luck but Stewart gave a similar output for 160k less it made sense cause of the rookie debacle of 2020

I’m looking at doing ziebell and a rookie to 2 premos in af this week but due to the lack of options in supercoach I’d be holding ziebell until the injury happens. Until then he probably needs to stay

Ever pulled that move and it doesn't work? :moustache:

Sure, Treacy at R3 Marshall at F4-6 was ideal. Meant a F7-8 was all that was needed.

Treacy's a doughnut and Marshall was the only worthwhile R/F option on-field or as bench cover. So not many will have ruck cover after Flynn is upgraded. It might only become a problem later in the season if Gawn/Grundy get injured after people have used up all their trades.

There will be rest weeks for both for the rest of the year for sure. Don't want those donuts.

I wouldn't be relying on Flynn to be in when you need him though. He's probably got another 10 rest weeks coming up himself.

Different year this year in my opinion. Fatigue and injuries are bigger concerns than other years so coaches will be very careful. Again in my opinion.

Both Gawn and Grundy have been looked after this year, Gawn with a sizeable chop out from Jackson and Grundy with fairly low TOG% for a ruck. You'll see them being "rested" in-game by way of lower TOG in a few games and load share in others. Rucks are workhorses though and it's very rare that they're rested unless injured.
