With Chappy, Higgens, Ziebell (??), Gilbee and Hurn (??) all possible of missing next week im going to wait till injuries and teams are released to make my decision on who is going to get traded. Before this w/e happened i was thinking hurn> cornes but now not so sure.....

Definitely one to look if he can a. keep his place in the team and b. stay injury-free.

I had him in my team at the start of last year before he got injured, could be high-risk high-reward player though.

Does anyone think that the quicker Ablett is brought into your side the better?

I am starting to think that the 30k potentially saved this week is not really as important as having a 300 pt skipper again.

Am playing around with ideas of getting him back in my side. So far have come up with this for the next 2 weeks.

Out - Kornes, Houlihan
In - Ablett, Broughton

Next Week

Out - Rich, Dawson
In - Dal Santo, Rookie

Would leave me with a midfield of - Ablett, Bartel, Dal Santo, Goodes, Selwood, Coughlan. Not that thrilled with Coughlan as my 6th mid, but with lack of trades it might have to do. Backline would be a little suspect also if I go this way, leaving me playing 2 of Grimes/Suban/Broughton/Rookie as my 6th and 7th backs for a while. Hmm - might be back to the drawing board. Must be a way I can strengthen the backs and get the little Maestro back.

Personally with the amount of bloody injuries happening every week, Im keen on waiting just one more week.

If he continues his form he should be a good down grade of Rich, Hasleby or Coughland and then upgrade one of the others to Ablett

Am seriously thinking of doing Ablett in this week too.

My captain selections in the last 2 weeks have cost me sub 2K scores. I might need it for the security of knowing he's there....

Will depend on Broughton though. I want to downgrade Suban to him as Suban has peaked, but won't be able to get all trades if Broughton is picked that i need for Gablett to return to my team. Will wait for team selections....as i always do

i had plans od finishing my team in the up coming 4- 5 weeks prior to higgins,chappy and gilbee's injuries my plan after this round was going to be either,

Rich to Conney/Goodes which would have completed my mids

but now with higgins and chappy going down and only have sidebottom as a playing emg in my fwds, was thinking higgins to Gia and having ziebell cover chappy for the 1 week,

but if gilbee misses then i'll have to take a zero as i have Cheney and Broughton as def covers, dont really want to take the zero but i only have 11 trades and 131k in the bank and ideas fellas???
