ok so savage gotr through last week...gr8 news.

i see suckling back....after going missing foir a long time.

no peterson? i have never seen him play, but will he get another year???

like to see dowler dominate, he is strugglin with confidence....i know he got dropped and did not deservce it but needs to be stronger IMO

tim walsh is a star for me, great mark just needs to work on his kicking

like to see renouf dominate and get more hit outs than jolly in round 2

rumour is gilhams not feeling 100% so if one of the emergencies were to take his place I'd say they'd take Schoey, and one of the emergencies has to travel anyway (emergencies: renouf, schoey, kennedy?)

Nathan Thompson back at Box Hill. Should be interesting to see how our backs handle him.

Goodness, I pity him if he gets the same treatment that Matty Maguire got last week. LOL.

Surely Dowler gets a game next week? Would love to know the thinking regarding his non-inclusion over the month or so.

Disappointing weekend for Hawks fans. Thomo touched us up, Twister hurt an ankle (don't think it's overly serious- maybe miss a couple? TBC.). Unfortunately no one really stepped up and put their hand up for selection. Not for lack of trying but we weren't good enough to keep the lead and didn't use the wind wisely.

Next week we're off to Geelong I believe so may head down to Kardinia Park and catch the train back to Spencer St for the Hawthorn game.

You have to wonder why we drafted Lisle if we're going to play him forward. By Dowler's two goals I can only assume he wasn't playing at CHB or FB either.

They got Lisle at pick 50 when they rated him top 20. i think with a utility like him theyre happy to just play it by ear

The problems are his pace and mobility I believe. He may have a touch of the Leigh Browns about him, in that he is skilled and can take a mark, yet may struggle to keep up with some of the more athletic type forwards you come up against in the AFL.

I'd like to see him used like North's Drew Petrie, another player who was originally considered to lack mobility & pace.

If you're a 196cm KP defender who makes All Australian at U-18 level, there's a reason you fall all the way to pick 50.
