In - Ryan, Sandi/Darcy, Langdon, Nyhuis,
Out - Ibbo, Griff (Wasn't the worst just don't see the point in him instead of Darcy), Pearce, Spurr

Interesting one though - What would it take for a Mundy/Neale to be dropped (Not saying they deserve it, though Mundy struggled but has starred recently), i Just wondering after Adelaide drop Jenkins and Dogs drop Liberatore, what would it take for one of our top guys to get sent to the twos.

When he moved into the middle and actually got a couple of clearances, it was an indictment of how poor the others were playing. Although he wasn't as effective as usual, he was one of the few, along with Fyfe, Griffin, Weller, Crozier and Tucker who didn't drop their heads. Kept trying until the end. Deserves to keep his spot.
I thought Brady made a difference when he started in the middle. We know Brad Hill is an outside player and he has been great for us but thats what happens when your mid field gets smashed your outside players can't get involved.Stephen Hill was also non existent.Dave Mundy couldn't get near it so maybe Brady could get a bit more time in the midfield next week.I did see some photos of him at little creatures so that means he could be back here in Tassie at the moment.

I reckon Ross will bring Suban in next week unfortunately :(

Reported.

Seriously Ibbo must have RTB's goat, Griffin you would think is an out but not sure Darcy is ready for a full game and is Sandi ready?

Danyle Pearce deserves a 100 games for Freo if only for his spawn.

"facts"

He actually doesn't though. In our win against Richmond this year (the highest side we have beaten) he was one of our best players.

Your comment was stupid and you have presented no facts to back it up with. You should quit while you're behind and stop making yourself look like an idiot.
Lol Richmond. Counting them as a good side you might as well count everyone but Brisbane. Look at his disposal counts in losses. Apart from the Port game (where he was going below 50%) he's got less than 20 in all losses and all have been to top 8 sides.

Difference is Mundy is a star player, the other two are bit part players. Jenkins is seriously ordinary unless he's by himself in the goal square.

Out: Brad Hill. Continuously coasting around, plays one good game then shit for 4 weeks. Can't hit a target unless it's the goal. Was a bad trade by us, he was the steak knives at Hawthorn and now that he isn't surrounded by the same talent, he's shown to be ordinary.
In: Anyone.

3/10 - needs more of your patented "I'm lurking outside his house" vibe that comes through when you talk about Cummins.

To be fair it would take more than a couple of poor games. Much of it would have to do with training and the week to week attitude.

Liberatore by reports had a poor pre-season and Jenkins would be more about balance.

Mundy would need a couple more games like last night to be even thought of and then a couple more before they did drop him. He would have to be carrying something too if that was to happen.

You do realise he's an outside runner? Thats what he was recruited for. Hes half the size of an inside mid. During the week he was being touted around the competition as being the recruit of the year. Brad hill is one of the main reasons we have won the games that we have done. You sir, do not have a clue. In the nicest possible fellow fremantle way.

Pick the team to suit the conditions. But to be fair, it was the backline and midfield that were completely destroyed in Q1 in the rain. It wasn't the forwards who didn't get the inside 50s.

Skills and tackle effort were sorely missing.

Getting Ballantyne back would help in the rain but plenty more effort needed.
Ballantyne in the wet falls over more than he does when it's dry so that's not a solution .

Who does Blakely play on?

Treloar was tagged today and dominated with 30 possessions and a goal.

Will blakely play on Treloar or Pendlebury or Adams?

So outside runners only get possessions when we win? So basically all outside runners are down hill skiers? so not even correct it's not funny. However it is funny how many people here claim to know about football yet have jack shit idea and just blindly follow anything. I remember when people were bitching and moaning that we didn't draft/trade for Liam Anthony. Someone tell me how that worked out. Or Lewis Jetta. I was on the opposite side both times. I was right. Also everyone wanted to trade/delist Mundy about 8 years ago. I was one of the few defending him.. for 3 years he was one of the best midfielders in the game.

Treloar is one of the most overrated players in the competition with Dangerfield. You look at the wraps he gets compared to Pendlebury, who is one of the most underrated in the game. Pendlebury can hit targets, but doesn't get as many disposals.. Treloar is a below average kick at AFL level and still gets wraps on him like Dangerfield. These day's its all about the number of possies and the metres gained, rather than actual impact on a game.

Hmm, that's disappointing. He's clearly taken a set against Collins. Successful coaches don't play favourites.
We have a Match Committee to select the team and RTB gets 1 vote so how can he have a set against a player in selection to play for the Dockers.

Hard to believe a head coach would have to work around players that he didn't want selected because a committee overruled him.

Discussions, arguments sure but in the end I wonder if Ross the Boss votes first so that everyone knows what's happening.
Every AFL coach picks their team, the whole 'match committee' is complete bs.

Collins in for Tabs. Ryan in Ibbo.

Ryan plays Wellers role in defence, Weller plays midfield. All midfielders rotate through the forward line. Collins and/or Jonno relieve in the ruck.

Built the straw man big enough?

But doesn't that more often than not correlate with their impact on the game?
