If possible, a fair system is to use the player's avg or projected score for these unscheduled byes; regardless of best 18 or not
Well **** me, that’s what half the universe said when Melb vs Ess was postponed. But noooooooooooooooo, that would make too much sense.

Interesting list of players out of the VFL team:

Josh Caddy,
Callum Coleman-Jones,
Mabior Chol,
Will Martyn,
Thomson Dow,
Maurice Rioli.
Throw in their other possible ins of Edwards, Bolton, Cotchin and Prestia. Wowee.

A year on, they had time to implement - if they wanted to!

They could have at the time. They decided not too because they said some players averages were inflated.

Of course I have Titch - it's that sort of a season for me

Not knowing the rest of your team I'd say this may work out in your favor

Assuming life goes back to normal from next round - Titch will play ALL 3 bye rounds

Sure he's out this round - but RD 11 is essentially another bye round. 1 premo down while all others are playing in best 18 is coverable - 1 premo playing while 4-6 is a an advantage

Yes, cause someone could of traded in Jack Viney and got his 2 round average of 136.
No, because at the time they made the announcement there were only 3 games left in the round. Could have simply locked Ess & Melb players and applied averages. Then no-one could trade them in.

“GOLD Coast's clash with Hawthorn on Saturday night won't be played in Darwin as originally scheduled.

The AFL has informed both clubs the match will be moved from the NT with contingencies being worked through on the possibility of having the game played at another venue.

However, should that not be the case, both the Suns and Hawks will have their planned bye moved from round 12 to 11. “

The game not definitely ruled out this week. Could be moved to Metricon
Where’s that quote from?
The afl latest report on their site.
I’m flabbergasted. Tom Morris never goes early and ****s it up.
