I have no Hawthorn or GC players 😥

Just realised I have Jiath and Impey hahahahahahah.

What I meant was, I have no premos from either team, so in a best 18 situation I’ll be one premo ahead. I’m thinking specifically of all those that have that chip scab Titch :D

I have very vivid memories of this

And I am sure we will only find out what is happening SC wise at 7.48pm this Friday night as well.
Friday would be an improvement from 8:30pm on Saturday after 5 games are locked and we have playing players without the E. Flogs.

So with 4 Hawks players this weekend and needing to win all cash leagues I need to find a balance between maybe trading one out this weekend to make sure I have 18 depending on team selection but having them as cover for the rest of the bye round.

I’ll have about 22-23 players in round 12 now if rookies keep their spot.
Similar spot.
Awkward bit is that the losses are privatized this week (the smaller number of owners with n Hawks / Suns >= 3 get a disadvantage in firepower), but the gains are socialized (every man and his dog will look to engineer ways to bring in Miller / Mitchell / ... for the main bye rounds.)
Is what it is, I guess.

fu** me what an absolute shitshow. Based on what the AFL is saying I wouldn’t be confident at all saying they’ll play that fixture next week. Could be anywhere

Off topic but do you kents still want a round preview OP for this week? Uncle Jisk has ninja’d me with the thread but I have prepped most of one - can probably just edit it a fraction given what’s going on
Sorry Loose at HB but the news of the clash postponed sorta force my hand. Send it to me in a DM and I’ll edit my post and acknowledge you in it :)

Would be absolute chaos if the game isn't played R12 either.

This could actually happen if they want the game to be played in NT. NT have shown how strict they need to be to protect their communities, and with the current 14 day range for COVID to appear I'd say there's a good chance no players who have been in Melbourne will be able to enter the state.

A neutral venue wI'd imagine would need to be used, or worst case scenario later in the year in NT still but ******* with SC even more.
Surely they’d move it. The AFL would 1000% have contingency plans in place for exactly this scenario after last year. Whatever those plans are, 48 hours notice is probably just too soon but the extra week allows them to kick in. If the news gets worse tomorrow or Friday, I fully expect all teams to be flying to a hub straight after their game this weekend.

Can't remember if it happened for R3 last year, but 3 trades would be nice this week.

Could bring in Dusty, Heeney and Cerra :smilingimp:

“GOLD Coast's clash with Hawthorn on Saturday night won't be played in Darwin as originally scheduled.

The AFL has informed both clubs the match will be moved from the NT with contingencies being worked through on the possibility of having the game played at another venue.

However, should that not be the case, both the Suns and Hawks will have their planned bye moved from round 12 to 11. “

The game not definitely ruled out this week. Could be moved to Metricon
Where’s that quote from?

Interesting list of players out of the VFL team:

Josh Caddy,
Callum Coleman-Jones,
Mabior Chol,
Will Martyn,
Thomson Dow,
Maurice Rioli.
God I hope they drop RCD
