Because we spent too much money on too few players

The AFL listed players are mostly kids,
the VFL listers are hardly dominant VFL players,
The VFL kids are talented but hardly in the running for AFL spots (bar a couple like every year)

I'm saying he was wrong. You are allowed to stick your arm out in the ruck now. You aren't allowed to run past the ball, but you can stick your arm out.

Because they basically gutted the VFL list again and the majority of blokes we have playing have played under 15 VFL games. No idea what they where thinking but it is biting us in the ass as we now have to get games not only into the AFL guys but also the VFL guys.

I really thought shiel would be banging the door down to get back into the seniors but he just seems to not care enough. I always thought of him as the consumate professional who put 100% into everything but his season has really surprised/disappointed me.
