Absilutely brilliant team goal, handball - handball - handball - handball starting with McKay winning a 50:50 on the back flank finished with Eckersley snapping truly

Now a free kick to Smartt just on the 50m arc. Pies rebound

Ess 77

Essendon 11.11.77 (Jedwab 3, Eckersley 2, Smartt, Roberts, O'Neill, Nyko, Davey, Bryan singles)
Collingwood 6.6.42 (Eyre 2, McInness, MacCrae, Long, Johnson singles)

Three quarter time and the game opened up with Essendon kicking 6 goals to one (late Collingwood goal)

Tsatas has been productive but not as influential if that makes sense. Shiel been more impressive. Setterfield surprised me with 16 to his name bu being inside the clinches maybe not as noticeable on the box.

Bryan really got on top in the middle and our mids got to work. Clearances would have been heavily in our favour on the back of this.

I must say, with this group of VFL listers, if we can keep them around could forge something nice. Nyko has AFL attributes and if continues on this trajectory would be on the radar of AFL clubs, Hoare should be on an AFL list if Sam Weidemann and Josh Shache can be, Matt Foley as a small defender has been one of our most consistent players across the first three quarters and would not look out of place on our list. Eckersley continues to show AFL attributes even if kicking boots missing (again) with 2.3 from his 13 possessions
