Scotts painted himself into a corner 2-3 years ago and is still paying the price now IMO.
We can't play all the young guys. Wed be Carlton.
Its a shame preuss isn't in. That's the one I understand the most. He can't run a game out yet. B brown isn't a great chop out. Goldy has the tank. Preuss in requires magac in also IMO.
I'm surprised durdin has played at all.

North have surprised this season, and that's credit to Scott ......he's feeding the kids into a competitive team & that's great for development .......but also team morale is maintained because the list can see the youngsters being played on merit & not gifted

Scott has said he must workout a way to get Preuss into the team & working with Goldy .....so it will happen
Simpkin is a real talent ......so far the players cut loose last season is proving the correct move & the club appears to be managing the rebuild well

Because I have Rocky and Fyfe who have a tendency to die every year. Could do a lot worse, but I'll probably end up getting JJK once he bottoms out and someone like Steele will become my M9/F7 swingman.
Already have Greenwood and Brown hasn't even played a game yet.

The preseason consensus on your board was that Durdin was ahead of EVW to take over the Firrito role.

Sorry, how can he be underrated when he hasn't even played a game yet? In fact, he's highly rated at COLLINGWOOD. If it weren't for his glandular fever I'm betting he would have been named rd1. He was having a very impressive preseason prior to the illness.

By non Collingwood supporters was my inference .....i watched him in the U18's and he was good, the club tended to talk him down, so as to get him the cheapest possible

I agree about being picked rnd 1 .......hence why Brown was in my starting SC team

I went the below, to set me up for byes:

Hibberd (NM) > Scharenberg
Balic > Bolton

Sick of Hibberds 0's, fine without DPP.
A bit annoyed about needing to trade Balic, but want to set myself up to get Cousins next week and upgrade a few players heading into R13.

Leaves me $206k in the kitty, comfortable with bye setup but need to trade in a few R13 players.
 
Pink wine must be a mix of red wine and white wine I think, so I'll get both of those..

can someone talk me out of using scott selwood as a M9 trade stepping stone trade? Upgraded from Fisher, I Figure make a quick $100K - $150K and potentially upgrade. I have fyfe who I am a little bit worried about so hedging my bets if selwood keeps his form.

I will have 12 trades left? $256k in the bank.

Scott has said he would "love to find a way of getting Preuss into the team" but at the same time he has also said with the current rules, going in with two ruckmen was surplus to requirements. He even suggested that some teams were going okay with no specialist ruck (Melbourne for example). I can't see Preuss getting another game in the seniors this year unless they rest Goldy or he is injured. Reckon they might try and move Goldy on at the end of the year. If he doesn't go Preuss probably will. He is a serious talent. Way too good for VFL already.
 
My trades this week:
SPP> S Selwood (may raise a few eyebrows but I decided I wanted Selwood and already had 8 mids playing this week, so time to thank SPP for his service and move him on.)
Balic> Greenwood
Hampton> Schaz or Williams.

Not sure to downgrade or upgrade on the last trade. Both have the round 13 bye. Thoughts?
