As much as I wish Craig all good luck, but gee, Mitch was not far from winning the game. You would never know it if you watched the media tonight.

That said, I don’t really care. Let’s just worry where this group and Club is in three years, three Drafts, three FA periods, three contract periods.

It is going to get hard for Sam, stick with him, have faith.

Not much love for Hardwick on these pages. Though he was fantastic.

An angry Lewis flying hard into packs is a joy to watch. And he looks like he knows he can hurt. He is playing with a confidence and aggression that never looked likely a year back. Beating Moore is no mean feat. Didnt look like Moore enjoyed playing on Lewis at all.

Bramble did some nice things but it worries me that he still tends to hold back at the contest too often.

Gunston staying on was infuriating

The media love affair with Collingwood is confusing, going into 2021 everywhere had them finishing in the 8... it's why they traded their first pick, theyre only performing to what people expected going into last year.

It’s funny with the media. All the hype about Collingwood’s win, and rightly so, they are going well.
No mention that we played 1.5 decent qtrs of footy and nearly pinched it.
We’re tracking ok. A lot of the tool,we need are in place, just need to fill some gaps and refine some things and we’ll be ok

Witts last week I think was bog as well
Oh yeh info got about Witts, he destroyed us.

Nank the tank gave us a bath as well.

We have probably lost about 3 to 4 games alone due to the opposition rucks just doing as they please against us I reckon.

We really, really need Reeves to develop into an AFL standard ruck as Big Boy is basically cooked and Lynch is more a forward/ruck hybrid.

Agree 100%. Was a real concern that Witts was able to dominate our experienced rucks in Howe and Kosi.......

Okay fair enough the Witts example was an unusual case.

Those other examples though we would have had at least one of Lynch or Reeves playing.

I think its a case of poor list management in that for one of the most important roles in the team (ruck) we went into the season relying on a combination of Big Boy (who we all know was close to cooked even last year) and a couple of very raw, physically underdeveloped rookies in Reeves and Lynch.

We don't have a seasoned, powerful ruck in their mid to late 20s that can at least negate the influence of players like Gawn, Witts, etc.

Still at least this year is a development year but I hope they get big Noodle on the weights and protein shakes big time this coming pre-season!

I do agree (for real this time :)) with you and have said as much in another thread that we were a ruck short going into the season.

you can disagree with the overall merits of having that rule as a rule, but that is precisely what the rule was brought in for.

Simply claiming "it's not a good look and all my mates agree with me" isn't the slam dunk you seem to think it is

You misunderstood my post entirely (or missed the contexts of the chain of comments in which it was made).

I was basically saying it isn’t black and white, I get your point of view, stop jumping down the throat of those who disagree (of which there are many)
