why does Oleg come straight back in, wasnt doing much before he didnt play last week. offered no rebound the previous month of football. as a sub , maybe, but as a forward would just be silly, has ever even played forward?

Johnson is playing, according to Beau. Not sure I'd be keen on both Johnson & Krueger coming in together for their first games in a while.

He's fit. He's fast. We're decimated by injuries. There are 3 good reasons to bring him in, imo.

averaged 8 possessions in his previous 3 games offering next to zero rebound
prefer we continue with Parker.
if Oleg comes on as a sub, fair enough, but doesnt warrant a spot in the starting backline or forward line at the moment

It still amazes me how he came back from that injury. Never quite been the same, but I really wasn't sure he'd ever return.

- Given Dean's inexperience I would play Howe down back
- Oleg to come back into our backline
- Macrae to go through the midfield
- Parker or Allen to be sub.
Lol I'm copping crap for this post.
I remember the long discussions here in 2018 about Darcy Moore's hamstrings. Whether him playing forward made it more likely he'd get a soft tissue injury as you're in front of the ball trying to lose a defender, change direction etc and playing back you have it all in front of you and just have to read the play.
Moore's had a pretty good run since moving to the backline.

Richmond trained him as a forward at one point I believe. He is in the 21-27 range of player on our list, sometimes he's best 22 sometimes he is not depending on form/team needs. Disposal count with the way we play isnt a huge indication of if he is doing his role well
