Maybe look at Sheppard insteed of Williams. WC had their bye...shep averages 90 ish.

Really unsure on Trac v Oliver.
Piggy if Gawn is back..
I started Bailey Williams at D2 (now at D5) - while he has been solid and gone from $300k to $450k. Original intention was to upgrade him but I expect he will finish as my D6

I'm not sure I would be bringing him in now. He has only gone over 100 once this year, he has a bye to come. Edit: actually 2 tons

If using him means getting a gun and you are happy with 85 average then it's a solid trade
My choice would be Trac - gone to beast mode this year and Piggy can butcher it. (I have both)

Thanks dudes.
Might stick with my initial trade of Helmet instead of Williams. Bulldogs bye not really a concern, only playing for finals now and he'll leave me with 100k still if I take the Tracc.

You must have bigger gonads than the rest of us.

At D6, I don't think May is a bad option. I'm looking at going McPherson to him.

I've got Seagull, Williams (for sic), Ryan, Stew and Doch from D1-5, and May would save me some cash. Haynes is the only defender I'd look to get in if I didn't do this, but I'd have to wait.

Somehow I'm sitting in the top 5000 without having Lachie Neale all year, so I need to save as much as I can to nab him after his bye.

Am I crazy?

Which rookie is your D6?

Sicily > Lloyd
McPherson > Foot/Gould
Leaves me 118k

Or

Sicily > Luko
McPherson > Foot (or what until next week for Gould)
This option allows me to do Aarts > Fyfe or anyone below his price next week

Hmmmm.

Trade McPherson and Rankine to Saad and Foot, or leave it for tonight, loop Williamson and Rankine and trade McPherson to Gould if Williamson spuds it up? Problem is that if I don't trade Rankine, the second move (Cameron) won't be an upgrade as there's nobody desirable in the 460k and below range (can't bring in a R15 bye player), so it'd either be one trade or a double down.

I have Seagull but D6, M7, M8 and F6 are all rookies still.

My dilemma is if I should spend nearly all my kitty going Simpson > Fyfe at $581,000 or taking a punt on Angus Brayshaw at $417,000 who has a 3 round average of 111?

Instead of having $36,000 left over I will have $200,000 left over to go McPherson > Williams next week or put towards getting my M8.

Hmmm.

I'll rather Fyfe than Helment Bray..

Go with us gut if your felling ballsy..

Do what Ruby will do... :moustache: .

Parish and Jack Martin might be worth a look .

Jack Martin 96 avg before he's injury score.

Interesting to see not of a lot of King George trading going on this week - I guess we all have other carnage to deal with but in a year where cash gen is absolute cactus I'm more inclined to trade him this week than Moose McPherson given George is prime to lose $$$...
Will have no cover in DEF if I have a late out but tempted to take the risk at this point. Despite that, not very keen to bring in both Foot and Gould over the next fortnight given Horse is basically the rookie grim reaper

Only confirmed trade so far is Sicily to Zilliams. Whatever downgrade I do with my second trade with leave me with ~260k in the bank to go nuts with next week

He hasn't made enough cash.
He was poor last week ,but so was Port other tall forwards.

BE 70 not out of reach with a couple sausage's .

I'll play Stiffy Woodcock over him this week.

Goegrie will kick 3 now,

Afternoon all

Looking for any advice on what to do here. Really struggling with cash gen of late, having picked many a poor rookie along the way.

Got a few thoughts, mostly looking at culling two of:
Mayes
Simpson
Georgiades
Gawn

With such limited cash, looks like about $500k will be my mark to bring a player in.

Can finish forward line with Greenwood, bring in Brayshaw as a M8/stepping stone, bring in Shiel/Boak as an M8

Thoughts on where I can go here?

This is true and he has received some extraordinary KOTD in the past.
I'm still livid over passing on Splinterdick for that flog Hosie. That Reid kent from the Eagles looks like Splinterdick V2 (small forward in a good side, 102k, "likely" to be dropped) so I'll avoid him too so he can average 80 until years end and be the best fwd cover possible through the byes :$

Bart Simpson to Foot.

Plus Mayes gives you about 500k for mid.

Or Forward if sub bell into the mids

That’s the one that I’m leaning to

Simpson>Foot
Mayes>Brayshaw/Shiel/Boak/Greenwood

Opens up my backline if Sholl is dropped, which I won’t know til too late.

Not sure if there’s something else out there to consider.

The time to trade Gawn was last week. Having held him for one you may as well hold him now as should be back next week.

So got McPherson, Simpson and $260k to turn into d6 and m8

looking at:
Shiel and Thurlow in OR
Angus Brayshaw and Thurlow OR
Any other suggestions welcomed!

Will still have 8 trades left so can still upgrade Thurlow again post round 15 bye, and looking to avoid anyone with the round 15 bye.View attachment 941446

One up.
One down.

Moose to Gould-Cottrell.

Simpson gun mid .??.

If rivers plays and scores 65-70+ that’s the way I’ll go.
Sitting at 82 so trying to think outside the square a little to move up the rankings some more.
And to be honest I’m not overly convinced with any of this rounds rookies hence looking at Thurlow.
