Outscore the opposition. Usually works.Should be a decent match, both teams with the goal of sneaking into the 8 this year.

When we beat them again we’ll take their place in the top 4.Feeling cocky after last night huh. Nice little dig about sneaking into the 8.
Don't be a coward and hide your dig between two harmless sentences. Be betterShould be a decent match, both teams with the goal of sneaking into the 8 this year.

Yep, agree. It's so close from 2nd place to about 11th, if other results go your way, a couple of wins can catapult you up the ladder.I see this as 50/50. Injuries hurt & things can change quickly so no getting cocky here..

Gawn usually has his way with Cameron. If Cameron can break even, it will go a long way to getting us over the line.OK serious response.
- Cameron to at least break even with Gawn and nullify his influence
- Billy lockdown role on Van Rooyen, someone (Maynard/Dean?) on Fritsch
- Centre clearance - get the A team in as often as possible
- Don't bomb the ball forward - kick it to wherever May isn't. Freddy to engage May whenever we go forward - bring the ball to ground and let the small forwards do their work. Low and fast into the forward line.
- Keep the ball alive. Don't allow Melbourne to play kick-mark game.
- Shoot straight lads - don't mess it up (Breaker Morant)
- WHE will be key on our forward line - needs to take a couple of marks inside 50
Your comment about both teams being a chance of sneaking into the 8 is absolutely cocky, we are the reigning premier and the best chance of knocking off Sydney this year as well, Carlton are a chance of sneaking into the 8 as well I suppose, good luckI see this as 50/50. As long as Kruges doesn’t break down within the first four quarters of playing this structureDon’t underestimate the power of a 9 day break (given our pretty taxing schedule of late) and what Krueger/WHE provide in terms of structure.
We’ve been playing some pretty good footy of late, confident we get the job done easily.
If it wasn’t already obvious it should be after the dogs game. With Jordy, pendles and Mitchell missing, nick is our midfield.
The path to victory for melbourne is simple, stop nick. If we counter that we win. Sullivan and crisp need to play interference and keep nick in the game. I think they can and we’ll win by 3-4 goals.
I see this as 50/50. Injuries hurt & things can change quickly so no getting cocky here..

As I've told you on numerous occasions, it's a long season Benny. Only the dumbest of supporters would be declaring that they are going to finish top 4 this early in the season. Actually, according to our banter thread, you guys are already claiming the flag. I saw enough last night to say that you guys are more than beatable. Actually, if essendon didn't shit themselves and kicked straight, you would have been in big trouble. I'd be keeping my powder dry because you are no where near Sydney atm.I see this as 50/50. Injuries hurt & things can change quickly so no getting cocky here..
