If you go Higgins > Wingard (+25k), which premo defender does that allow you to bring in?

I always wonder about this kinda statement, if his price is dropping then his scoring is dropping as well so the trade seems bizarre to me.

If he has an injury effected score dropping his price i get that but if his $$$$ value is dropping his scores must be dropping also?

Is the extra trade worth using if it opens up both DPP options and gives me better bench cover?

Parker with a B/E of 128 could score a solid 110 this week but still drop in price, albeit very little.
110 for a FWD line player, I'd take that every other day.
And every dollar saved during this time of the season could mean a big difference.

I was happy to pick Goddard/Ward up at there cheapest prices and haven't looked back since, everyone drops in form eventually.

Agreed completely, it is getting the right player at the point where they bottom out.

Just not sure if I have the courage to pick him up and choose him over Parker for my final FWD upgrade

Basically gives me a full premo team with Harvey as M8 and Martin as F6 and 9 trades left.

Harvey can go to F6 in good time and depending on how Martin goes (Leuy may come back) he'll be cashed out or maybe even bring in Thurlow for Derickx and use that cash and then Martin to R3 as cover.

Plan on keeping Ambrose in fwd line and Acres in mid as cover. Praying acres gets back.

If Harvey is your 'F6' I would love to see the rest of your forward line... Most would have him at F1 by some margin...

Yeah but that all relies on Honey or Morabito getting a game and being a decent back-up. If I do Breust > Martin, Derickx > Brown and Hartung > Fyfe/Rocky then I have Shenton, Taylor, Ambrose as back ups (all look like being solid cover) and it also opens up the DPP so I can move Martin to the Rucks if required.

even if honey doesnt get a game you have taylor you can use as a dpp swap / bench cover

If a ruck gets injured they'll be a 500K+

so simply trade them out, move Martin to ruck and buy a gun fwd or mid.

but that means you ahve traded out a gun ruck rather than cover him for a week

Why are you getting Stef martin? you have no ruck dpp in your rucks (thurlow ben brown type)

For me Martin is purely nice RUCK insurance if Sandi or nicnut get rested for a week
