Long term I'm thinking ruck insurance, but I'll have to burn that extra trade to get rid of Currie to Brown/Thurlow. Am regretting not starting with either of these guys..
Or I can hope that Dan Currie gets another gig

Looneyburger is listed as 3-4 weeks. It was 6 weeks last week. It looks like he may be back sooner than first thought.

Great final team with really strong dpp backup.
Exactly the sort of set up I was hoping for, but will probably fall just short of ... and with far fewer trades in reserve.

What's up with Breust? This week I've downgraded Jamar for a non-playing rookie so I could upgrade Bews to Hurn. I'm starting to wonder if I'm better off keeping Jamar as the ruck back-up for when Sandi gets rested / Martin makes way for Lewey (which seems like it will happen) and getting out Breust with his high B/E and current Spudliness for McGovern.

need some advice......
have a completed team with my worst players being higgins, r. murpghy and jaensch with 4 trades left which are for safety.
although i am very tempted to go higgins - wingard as my final non forced trade. higgins without his 4 100+ scores would have a fairly average 60 odd average. where as wingard has far bigger upside and with a 10 severely affecting his average. i have cover on every line and dont want to burn 2 trades trading down then up to get a full premo... thoughts??

If you have 22 premo's on the field and a playing bench rookie on every line averaging 50-70 why waste a trade bringing Martin in? ...unless of course you believe that he is going to average 90+ based on 2 games. Personally, I won't be trading him in as I only have 6 trades left no point wasting a precious trade at this point sideways trading a benchie for him, even though potentially loopholing his scores of the forward bench is tempting, I don't believe it's in my teams long term best interest. Would rather sideways an under performing premo than making another downgrade. Which is what I would be doing if I traded him in.

This leaves me 6 trades and not much cash with a team of:


In a few weeks when S.Mitch has dropped in value and Cutler has had a slight rise I will double trade Cutler and KK to J.Hunt and S.Mitch. This will open my D/F link and leave me with 100-150k to upgrade one of Cotch, Breust or Gunston to a mid premium on the eve of the finals and leave me with only 3 spare trades. Sound like a good plan?
